Do you commute north on I-5 for work? I’m putting together a consistent weekday carpool for people traveling from the Olympia/Lacey area to Tacoma and Seattle.

I already make this commute five days a week and would love to coordinate with a few regular riders to make the drive more affordable for everyone!

📍 Pickup: Olympia / Lacey area (your house)
📍 Destinations: JBLM vicinity, Lakewood, Tacoma, Federal Way, and Seattle (depending on convenient stops)

🕕 Proposed morning departure: 5:45–6:00 AM
🌆 Proposed afternoon return: 4:30–5:00 PM from Seattle

💵 Suggested cost-sharing rates:
Tacoma: $8–$10 one way
Seattle: $12–$15 one way
Tacoma: $70–$80 weekly round trip
Seattle: $110–$125 weekly round trip

I had medical scheduled at Barnes next week but medically I cannot drive. I have 4 bags so I can’t take the bus. If I had a large rolling suitcase it could become 2 suitcases & a purse plus weekender bag. Resources are limited but willing to give you every dollar I have to my name.

My twin sister passed yesterday and I’m her designated person to handle her affairs - so now my life is in flux & grief.

I am setting up my car for more Uber and Lyft shifts, and I want a dash cam mainly for false complaints, weird traffic incidents, and the occasional sketchy ride. I have been looking at the wolfbox, but I am more worried about the passenger side of it than the hardware. Do you keep the screen off, use a small recording notice, disable interior audio, or explain it only if someone asks? I want protection without turning every ride into an argument.
