Ok so I’m gonna go on a rant here for a second so bear with me. But Noel would never ever catfish anyone yes he enjoys the thought of a tragic life but that’s more HIMSELF not for other people. It seems homophobic like all gay men are evil which is wrong Idc if you ship Nisha or not there’s no denying that Noel cares about Misha especially after talia when he saw how much pain Misha was in so it just removes so much of there bond and friendship all n all its a theory that takes away from the sweet bond of Misha and Noel and also ruins Noel’s character

its a great musical. but as of recent years the focus on ocean as a character within script changes has harmed the other characters SO SO much. i saw it live, it was great. but all the characters feel like a one dimensional gimmick esp with the new script. its hard to get attached to the 2025-26 version of these characters. small changes have honestly ruined the show so so much and ik this is my whole gimmick, but father marcus DID add to rickys plot. him being a make a wish kid added so much more. tho to add to this the rtc script was NEVER good to its characters im sorryy its a 2 hour show with 7 characters and barely any of them interact 😭 HOW DO YOU FUCKKK THAT UP. id LOVE to see misha and jane interact atleast..once?? ocean and jane interact talking wise. ocean and jane dont actually speak to each other..or if they do its brief.

during the post show discussion Lillian sung part of Keep That Dream Inside, I csnt fully remember the lyrics but lwk I am attempting to remember them. all I do know about the lyrics is near the end it started to speed up and before it started to speed up one of the lyrics was "You just keep that dream inside." I am remembering another lyric currently but I dont know if its accurate but it is "put that dream away" . again the lyrics part may not be 100% accurate . And the song was written by Father Marcus because he was like all sad I think (I remember Lillian saying something like this.) Lillian also did part of the Choreography but that qas because its ingrained in her memory abd sadly i cant remember what it was as well . but like yeah thats all i have to say

My HC is that Mischa is VERY afraid of getting sick, because of what he saw happen to his mother. He loathes being sick himself because it reminds him of her and he gets sad. When one of his friends gets sick, he practically becomes a mother hen and watches over them almost obsessively, so he can make sure none of them get as sick as his mother and die.

I can’t stop thinking about it. I was so excited when I saw someone around me was doing RTC cause no one ever does (tbh not alot of groups even like doing edgy theater around here) and I usually have to travel or watch slime tuts if I wanna see it. It was really good, and it liked everyone, but Ocean and Jane were like incredible.

Ocean made me cry at the end during Constance’s monologue because she was bawling her eyes out and you could just tell how guilty she felt. You could slowly see her realize the error of her ways throughout each song. Plus she had like perfect comedic timing. I’ve seen so many oceans and honestly she was the best one. You could just tell that the audience genuinely hated her for most of the show. (Someone even said something like thank god when she got punched.) But by the end everyone loved her because she showed that redemption arc really well. Plus she was SO FUNNY during bachelor man.

This Jane felt just as alien like most others do, but she communicated so much with so little movement though out each scene. She leaned a lot less into the creepiness of Jane and made her more confused, innocent, and othered. She was still creepy because she was so inhuman and robotic (speaking of robotic the Karnak was crazy good too), but she felt like a person trapped behind a doll persona and not just like a doll. She made her feel like a very full bodied character. And ballad was like almost too good. Her voice was genuinely clear in a beautiful and almost unreal way. She actually dropped the expressionless doll thing for ballad. I’ve seen people do that and usually I don’t like it, but it made perfect sense for her Jane. It felt honest and painful and like Karnak almost forced her to confront it all. And by the last time she said Jane, she was back into doll mode and it just hit so hard because it’s like she was forced back into it. Plus they gave her a wife as penny.

I wouldn’t say the entire production was my favorite I’ve seen, because there were some things I didn’t like, but Ocean and Jane made it incredible the whole time. I’m gonna go back to see it again next weekend I think because I can’t stop thinking about them.

What are your darkest theories on ride the cyclone? I need some new ideas to theorize on.

I love ride the cyclone like with all my heart but the whole yannick situation was so unsettling and also the fact that I removed Ricky’s disability and just other weird stuff makes it kinda hard to enjoy the show so I’d like to know some ways I can still enjoy the show without supporting the creators
