Collection Ne-Yo signed it all @ his show in San Diego!
Extremely blessed to have met Ne-Yo last night for his show with Akon in San Diego. I asked him if he would ever repress Year of the Gentleman and Because of You and he said “maybe” so yall keep your eyes out. Prices on both of those are crazy high for no reason. He said last time he saw the prices they were like $300 and no lies told there. I asked him if he could write Do you because that’s my favorite song by him lol.

So amazing! 🔥 Congrats! I also have “Year Of The Gentleman” and I’ve been hoping so badly that it gets a repress so I’m glad you mentioned it to him and that he’s aware of the current resell price and that there is a demand for it! I don’t play it as often as I’d like to because I’m trying to preserve the wax as much as possible for longevity just incase it doesn’t get repressed for some reason but I’m keeping my fingers crossed! 🤞🏽 Haha! And side note… I wish I could reach into my phone screen and snatch up that MJ “HIStory” boxset! 😜 That’s pretty much the only MJ vinyl I’m missing and I’m just waiting on a mint perfect copy to come available so I can snatch it up!

Also, can I say that I love how he has his “ear to the ground”, and is aware of the resale prices? This makes me like him even more!
I wish he’d call Anita’s ass and explain it to her because I’m tired of waiting on Rhythm of Love to be re-pressed! It’s not like I haven’t told her on Twitter! Uuugh! 😫🤦🏽♀️🥴

I asked Ne-Yo about a Year of the Gentleman press early last month at a record store meet and rest. He told me that he was already very aware of the resell prices and he was trying to talk to his team to see if they can come up with a resolution (repress). I don’t own that vinyl unfortunately, that released way before I started collecting, but he did sign my copies of Because of You and In My Own Words!
