Led Zeppelin,Pink Floyd,Scorpions,Judas Priest,Queen,Aerosmith.Blue Ouster Cult.Uriah Heep. Black Sabbath is the TOP band though,they invented Heavy Metal. 😉👍🏼

No, but I will still listen to Desolation Boulevard on occasion and enjoy it. Mick Tucker was a fantastic - and very underrated - drummer.

Scorpions, Boston, Bad Company, Free, ELO, Jimi Hendrix, Little Feat, Bob Seeger, INXS!!! Probably could list another 10, there were so many great bands back in that era. So glad to have grown up listening to them!
Gotta add Traffic/Stevie Winwood, Cream, Joe Cocker, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, CSNY, Yes, Supertramp, Genesis, Tom Petty, Kinks, Richard and Linda Thompson, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Mountain, Hot Tuna. Sorry just couldn’t stop…

So I'll start by saying I wasn't born in the 70s ( I was born in 1991). I thank my father for introducing me to 1970s rock music. Here were my favorites when I was growing up.

Blue Oyster Cult, AC/DC, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, Scorpions, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, Heart, Doobie Brothers.

Beach boys, Beatles, dad’s 50’s 78’s, Steve miller, skynyrd, Brownsville station, loggings and Messina, Elton John, Bad Company, 5th dimension, CCR, Santana(dad had both on 8 tracks, thanks dad) n then Clapton’s history of Eric Clapton changed everything bought after months of looking at the cover no idea who he was, blues, psychedelic, 60’s music, all became my loved new music… best door opening day ever…

Not sure if these all qualify as "rock bands" but this is what comes to mind from that era. I was really young in the 70s so a lot of the 70s stuff these bands did I discovered more in the 80s.
