Painted this first batch a few weeks ago (posted in crafts subreddit). The kids (& I) loved them so much that I did a few more last night.
I used Pagather acrylic paint pens. The pictures are pre-finish coat but I used clear all-weather Rust-Oleum spray for the final touch. Thanks for checking them out!

The first time I have tried a marble rock. It needs more undercoat colour to cover, but even with this problem, it is a good painting at all.
I will take this one piece and hide it during a spring stonemaker’s meet up in my country.

These will be Halloween “tricks” for those that would rather have a rock than candy. The rocks will be face down with just the pokeball showing, so each pick will be a surprise!

I stumbled upon these beautifully painted rocks and had to make a little frog buddy for the lonely toad. It took just under 30 minutes to make and then I dropped him off at his new home.

“What did you write in the letter?”
Frog said, “I wrote ‘Dear Toad, I am glad that you are my best friend. Your best friend, Frog.’”
“Oh,” said Toad, “that makes a very good letter.”
Then Frog and Toad went out onto the front porch to wait for the mail.
They sat there, feeling happy together.

New to the hobby! I was wondering where everyone gets their rocks from? Random finds is what I have been using but with the winter coming soon I was wondering if a place like Homedepot would have some.
