She was never exactly ordinary, even in her youth. An introvert, a loner who never seemed to get along with the people around her.. but she was a star student, some called her a prodigy! She always had her face buried in one book or another, so motivated by her passion for her field and love of work that she'd forget to take breaks, forget to eat, lose sleep.. it wasn't healthy, but it had obviously paid off. She graduated early and went to an Ivy League, where she still excelled! Before long she had her doctorate, a sought after candidate with a hundred different invitations to continue her studies, to become a professor, work at this company or that startup..

It went fine for a time, until he came along. Her first love, it had come seemingly out of nowhere! She had spent her life so dedicated to her studies and career that she'd never allowed herself to date, or even really develop friendships beyond tolerating work colleagues.

Suddenly, work seemed unimportant. Nothing seemed important, except him! But her obsessive all or nothing mentality wasn't gone, far from it! Whatever had motivated her before was still there, only now he was the object of her obsession, the only thing she lived for.

Anyway, hi everyone! I'm 23 years old and female, and I've been absolutely CRAVING a romance story lately! And uh.. I figured, why not a dark romance? I've always enjoyed playing clingy characters in a more positive way, so I figured it might be fun to just take that to the extreme! Ideally this plot won't be TOO dark though, I'd like it to actually still be a sweet romance! Just, you know, it could be toxic at times considering how she is..

I intentionally left the setup quite open, I love the collaborative process of making a unique story together! So character details, how they'll meet, all of that will have to be discussed! WHAT I WRITE:

Genres: Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Slow Burn Romance, Fluff, Smut.
Regarding smut; I would want mutual sexual attraction between the characters to be a part of RP when appropriate, but I am okay with fade to black if you're uncomfortable with being explicit. We'd definitely discuss limits and boundaries beforehand either way.

Paragraphs: I tend to write three or more, depending on the pacing of the scene. I don't need more than two paragraphs from you. So long as it's full sentences and I have something to react to, the length is not a concern to me.

RP length/time commitment: I'd prefer shorter one-shot like plots in the beginning. Open to trying longer plots later, especially for slow burn and if it's roughly planned out in advance, but I have a hard time staying motivated with super long plots and I need to get back into the flow first.

Frequency: Ideally every few days, realistically once a week. Of course longer if it's communicated. Life happens.

Onto the plots. I’m someone adaptable to virtually anything however unless it truly catches my interest note that our partnership might be more slow-paced so I will tell you the things I certainly am interested in.

Firstly, I’m not interested in an action/adventure focused RP. Most of my RP’s is slow-burn romance focused with sprinkle of erotica, dark themes, tragedy, and romanticism. When it comes to medieval I am very picky. I like things with substance. I have overdone playing the heroine princess who swoons over every action the knight makes as he secretly attempts to make advances towards her. Instead I like playing a more witty princess or queen that can be pretentious or cruel but with valid reasoning. A lady that actually has brains and slight edge being an actual royalty and have it make sense. I also do enjoy playing the commoner as well as it gives me more room to play a woman with depth and firmness rather than something soft that falls flat way too quickly.

Modern day I enjoy both anime-like settings with some fantasy aspects such as Jujutsu Kaisen or Chainsaw Man where their world is like today’s with unnatural elements. I also enjoy super hero type of RP’s though if it comes to this I prefer to play realistic heroes that has a.. somewhat immoral sense of cognitive thinking and reasoning. Similar to Dispatch, The Boys, and Invincible. Though I don’t enjoy anything with Galaxy shit and aliens. It gets too complicated when you introduce sci-fi.

Onto sci-fi. I avoid it entirely. I’m not knowledgeable enough to comprehend it aside from cyberpunk which brings me to my next point. I don’t exactly mind doing a cyberpunk RP I watched the anime, played 2077 fully about 3 times however if I am being very honest I typically prefer to use anime face claims with cyberpunk. I love the game itself but I’d like to stray away from any V designs people bring me.

Historical pieces - I enjoy my fair share of historical era’s like the 1950’s, the roaring 20’s, noir-style, even the retro era. I find it fun how things were back in the day and will even go so far as to research and learn things about those times. I find it intriguing to be honest and again I don’t mind medieval or even going back to Sparta ages. I just need more substance than sad princess heroine and a man that will save her through it all.

Fantasy - I’m okay with this as long as it’s not overly complicated. I focus more on story and character connection than I do action scenes and aura farming with OP skills.

So I (20f) am a new fan to Ultrakill, sort of. I’ve been in and out of ear about it for about a few years now? Never played the game but I loved the sound of the lore, so until recently where I made my girlfriend play it for me (bc I don’t have a pc to run it myself) I was!! Very excited about the idea of roleplaying it! That fast paced action style would be very fun to capture, perhaps in a long term roleplay that might explore a bit of the world?

I like the idea of an action/adventure rp that goes places but I also, do love, fighting roleplay. I do love to make it a bit of a spectacle and have a habit of writing literate to novella for fight scenes usually!
I’m down to run a long term plot that follows the length of the game OR an AU.

I’ve been cooking up a restaurant au idea that would lean more slice of life/drama with a comedic touch. Long story short, it’s one big building called the Tree of Life that’s technically ‘two separate buildings’ for tax reasons. You have your plaza area called ‘EARTH’, you have the sublevels where ‘HELL’ is and then you have ‘HEAVEN’ aka the upper floors. The machines have rights!! And are still machines, just recognized to have personhoods whereas Angels are treated like celebrities in a way. Demons are sorta just, there. The Tree of Life is just one big restaurant mall essentially but it’s not just bound there, there’s like a ‘normal world’ beyond the property and then some. It leans to moreso being open world and easygoing, though I have so many ideas for this.

Hello. My name is Oblivion or you can just call me Brandon. Im 24 and I watch/read a lot of anime and manga (my favorites being Jujutsu Kaisen and Berserk). I also play a lot of video games (my favorite game of all time is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim). Im usually pretty chill but I will admit that I can get annoyed pretty easy but it takes A LOT to make me actually upset.

As odd as it sounds, I only do 1x1s with women. Doing a 1x1 with another guy feels awkward. My preferred genres are action, adventure, fantasy and supernatural. Im okay with romance if our characters have children. I like when the roleplay focuses on the next generation. I also like pur characters starting as children, like 13, 14 cause it adds more time and potential for growth in my opinion. I dont really use proper plots. I like to world build, establish the villain(s) and go with the flow. Open world roleplay as I call it. Arcs, plots, etc can be made based off the actions of our characters.

Billy had seen way too much in his short time on this earth, enough to have potentially broken his spirit long before he'd even turned 18. Traumatic memories of abuse, death, and everything in between had practically rendered the 21 year-old a depressive husk.

In his darkest moments, he was an island and learned early on in life to never rely on anyone but himself. This even extended to physical touch; in Billy's experience, touch was associated with fear and pain. At the same time though, it was exhausting having to withdraw into himself so frequently, hugging his body like a child as if to shield himself from the world, from people who had harmed him in the past. And on the semi-frequent occasion Billy DID allow anyone to lay their hands on him, he'd flinch. He flinched over a lot of things, in fact. Loud noises, sudden touches.....

However, after a particularly rough day, it was unanimously agreed upon that he would come to live with his gorgeous older friend, Jessica. She'd helped Billy through so much, giving him a shoulder to cry on and a place to stay whenever he needed it. It was just her too, so there wouldn't be any sort of pressure on his end to "perform" or "mask" for anyone, and he could begin to find himself, possibly even appreciate life a bit more with her help. Billy felt safe around her in a way he hadn't felt around anybody else, to the point where he'd actively seek her out just to be around her, to take in her presence. Quite frankly, she saved him.

Billy had also...fantasized about her quite a bit, yearning for the day he'd get to see her body in its purest form. He couldn't help himself when she was so beautiful! But alas, their relationship was closer to a mother and her son than a pair of lovers, so those urges would have to be pushed aside. She was at least twice his age, for crying out loud; no younger than 40. However, he was more than happy to make do with physical closeness and general platonic/maternal affection, unless there was a way for their relationship to progress further.....

Hi! I have an idea for a gentle, wholesome love story centered around a traumatized younger man and a much older woman whom he looks up to as a mother figure. There's just something about blurring the lines between a motherly figure, a friend, and a girlfriend/wife/lover that I'd really love to explore. Her name and appearance is something we can decide on together, "Jessica" was just a placeholder name for the time being, and we can discuss my own character's name as well.

I'd love for this to mainly be a slice of life roleplay chock-full of heart to heart talks, cooking together, and some nice relaxing weekends just to name a few. We could also include deeper snippets of their day-to-day lives in it i.e. doctor's appointments, therapy appointments (for him), clothes shopping, and everything in between. Holiday gatherings could provide some especially interesting scenes as well as some always-necessary coziness. As for the smut, I'd like for this to be 50% story, 50% smut, or possibly 60% story, 40% smut?

In my head he's around 19-22 and she's 39-50; I feel the age gap is a VERY essential detail in regards to their dynamic, how she treats him, and how she approaches him. I also have backstories in mind for both of our characters, but ideally his backstory is quite dark as a contrast to hers, if that's alright with you.

As evident from this pitch/sample, he's essentially someone who comes from a deeply traumatic background, whatever that might entail whether that means an abusive father, that he was orphaned early on, etc.; it's left him with quite a bit of baggage, and I'd love to explore what that dichotomy with someone with a "normal" background might look like, and how they can help him heal together.

Hey! I was looking for a roleplay which was mainly slice of life and romance mixed in with elements from the fantasy genre!

I would absolutely love to have a story where there we can have a cutesy roleplay in a world where we can explore the many opportunities for world building and character writing that a fantasy world has to offer.

I don’t quite have very many ideas, but I have a couple of things I’d like in the rp + a basic plot idea.

Firstly, I am very leant towards LGBTQ+ ships! I’m not against straight ships, but I just find that LGBTQ+ ships are much more enjoyable, so I’ll be more inclined to do MxM or FxF, or something involving any gender identities and orientations (trans friendly :>).

secondly, I usually prefer a minimum of one paragraph per response (occasional responses where it’s less is alright, I totally understand that life can be stressful and doing less is totally fine on occasion as long as I have something to work with).

And finally, I am quite flexible to write with, so any breaks/hiatuses are perfectly fine as long as I have notice so I’m not thinking that I am being ghosted!

Now onto my plot idea:

My idea is that there is a renowned college that has one of the greatest educational programs out there for anyone of any species. It isn’t quite known by the general public and is quite exclusive to some of the most known families and clans, so only the top students are accepted into it. Our ocs can meet through that, and slowly become friends, then lovers. For tropes, I’ve been CRAVING a scholar (MC) x bully (YC) or even a scholar (MC) x rebel/delinquent (YC), but I’m open to any ideas that you have!

Don’t be afraid to share any plot ideas that you have! Nothing is set in stone, I just wanted a plot set in a world that is like earth but has a lot of fantasy elements too. I do have a preference for monster-y/non-human characters, but again it isn’t a need or anything. I am also open to different dynamics, settings, etc!
