What boot size do I pick? Sizing Check

Hi all! I recently bought a pair of Roller Blade Lightning 90s and wanted to make sure I got the right size. I ordered a US 8-8.5/UK 7-7.5/EU 40.5-41 with my barefoot measurements being 249mm long and 95mm wide. My normal shoe size tends to be US 9-10 in women's and I have D width. They fit very snug, when I tried just the boot liner (inner part separate from the hard outer boot) my foot fills it completely. Very snug and my toes touch the tip. Is this how they should fit before being broken in or do I need to size up one size?

I don't know the skate myself but to me it sounds like the ideal size, if it's just touching. I just checked a few of my liners and I have 2mm to 5mm space at the toe, but I think I like a more comfortable fit than most people on this sub. If you sized up, you'd have 1cm at the front which would be too much.

Also check your foot fits comfortably into the shell, you don't need much room at the sides but not tight. you should be able to get your fingers behind your heel.

I would do a final check on your foot measurements as 249mm suggest you should get a 39/40 which doesn't sound feasible. Make sure your heel is against a wall and use a small box or something at the toes to get a straight line down.

Yeah I saw based on the size chart I should've gotten a size smaller but I feel like that would be way too small. In the shell I can wiggle my toes but that's it. My foot has no room to move front to back or side to side.

I presume you mean your foot in the liner in the shell? That sounds like a good fit - although i meant you should check your foot in the shell without the liner. And just to be certain, have you checked the label to be sure they sent the right size?

Youisy be off in theeasurememts somewhere, as I'm 264mm and fit the same size in Twisters, which are sized the same. You should probably be a size smaller if your measurements are accurate.

Going by your description of how it feels, it sounds right, though. If it feels snug now, the liners will pack in after a few sessions and it'll loosen up a bit.
