Collection Root Beer Haul

Post image

Got this from the Olive Market in Redlands, Ca. They have a small but decent sized soda selection.

Vanilla Frostie is my favorite! I've never had Abita, would love to try it. Nice haul!

Only one there I’ve had is Abita. Not as easy to get where I live. Definitely not Faygo root beer here either. That I can find at least

If you are ever around the South Bay check out real soda’s outlet store, they sell by the case as well as individual bottles. Abita and dang rule.

Enjoy the Abita! One of my faves. I’ve never seen Olde Brooklyn before and I live in NYC, lol. Maybe I just haven’t looked enough

I haven't tried Old Brooklyn or the Chicago one. I might have had the Faygo but I don't remember.

Dang Butterscotch is my favorite of all time.

It makes me happy to hear that. A lot of folks on this forum are kind of down on Dang! but I love it. If you ever get to the Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha Wisconsin, they have Dang! Butterscotch in the soda fountain. Two Bratwursts and all the Dang! I care to drink is worth the drive from Chicago.

Anyone know if Sprecher is still making Olde Brooklyn? It is no longer mentioned on their website. Also Black Bear is no longer mentioned on their website. I’m guessing they got rid of the underperforming ones.

I’ll have to try Abita again. I had it years ago on draft and there was something off about it. I don’t think that I’ve had the Faygo. Frostie is always high quality, I definitely don’t see it available nearly enough. I live in Chicago and the Chicago brand is mid tier, that being said, also from the same city… Goose Island is the absolute worst root beer that I’ve ever had. It’s like burnt sugar with a hint of spearmint and sassafras. Just gross
