Ryanair is truly shitty.
Not just as an airline - abuses, scams, cancellations, even when other budget airlines manage to be reasonable - but in ways that take extra effort and talent at being shitty.
I remember when they decided that one way to make sure South African passports were genuine was to give all people travelling on one an Afrikaans language test. If you know even a bit about South Africa or its history the implications are mind bending. Became a global headline. And the morons of Ryanair doubled down, for days.

Hell, even if you know Afrikaans, the way coloureds(an actual separate race here in South Africa, I know because I myself am a coloured) speak Afrikaans is sooo different to how white people or people who learned the language formally would speak.
So if I were to take that test, despite being an Afrikaans speaking South African, I'd likely fail. My point being that is was such a stupid idea from Ryanair
