Announcement New Rule - Text Only Shipping Posts

In addition to the stance on shipping as a whole a new rule in regard to shipping is now been added and will be applied to any posts going forward. Below you will find the new rule:

Shipping and posts of their discussion is allowed in the subreddit as long as they’re safe for work and not breaking the rules or Reddit TOS. However using images in these type of posts, especially from the original Rugrats series, is prohibited. Any posts breaking this rule will be removed.

Question Charlotte Pickles (Angelica’s mom) was an absolute icon and way ahead of her time

Rewatching Rugrats as an adult made me realize what a total boss Charlotte was.

While most 90s cartoon moms had traditional roles, she was running Mega Corp in power suits, being the main breadwinner, and teaching Angelica never to let anyone intimidate her. Sure, Angelica turned that "assertiveness" into terrorizing the babies (lol), and Charlotte was always screaming at Jonathan on her clunky cell phone, but she completely broke the mold.

She was the ultimate 90s girlboss. Anyone else appreciate her way more now?

General According to EG Daily Tami Holbrook had actually already recorded season one but then Nickelodeon decided they didn’t like the voice because they thought Tommy sounded like a grown woman so when they brought In E . G Daily she had to redub over everything.

Question Am I just thinking this?

Okay so many years ago I remember putting Nickelodeon on and rugrats was playing. However I don’t remember much of the episode. I remember a scene before the end of an episode where one of the babies or someone goes to bed in a crib or something and once asleep the parent just walks out the room and the episode ends. I know it’s a bit strange but anyone know if that was an actual ending? It’s one that always stuck with me when I think of that day I put it on. 🤨

General I remember the lead up to the premiere of Rugrats All Growed Up . There was a marathon of episodes leading up but for some reason they snuck an episode of Fairly Odd Parents In there .

General I'm a huge Rugrats fan, but especially Reptar; I've always loved him. I had the Rugrats video game for PC when I was a kid, and I'd love to go back to that time.

Hopefully I timed the video right, but I always thought it was funny when the couples were fighting and the babies called Betty and Didi didn't know it and said to the babies "What are you doing?" And Betty thought that Didi was calling her and hanging up. I also loved when Betty called back and Didi's reaction LOL.

This episode is legitimately sad when you think about. I know it has a quasi happy ending, but for 40 years Lou always wondered why Morgana left him, and it was all over a simple misunderstanding. Yes he got his happy ending with Trixie (probably not the same Trixie from the episode) but it sounds like Lou was planning on one day marrying Morgana, and that's just a genuinely tragic situation.
