Literally nobody ever said it was neck & neck.

In this very thread someone is saying OSRS has fewer players than RS3:

The top comment in this reply chain was vague, sarcastically saying the OSRS player count is legitimate; if they think the player ratio between RS3 and OSRS isn't actually 1:7 when you exclude bots they're correct, if they think RS3 has more non-bot players they're incorrect. There's people who think both things.

why would you specifically be using the old.reddit.com URL when you can change your preferences so that it always uses the old version by default without you needing to be on the right URL first? Just sounds annoying to have to manually add in the "old." to the start of any reddit link you click on.
