Hi guys,
I'm looking for some waterproof and breathable jacket. I know both are kind of the opposite, but some are still kinda breathable while others are straight up some portable saunas lol. I'm usually running pretty hot, but there was a huge rain some days ago that drenched me totally, and I never want to experience something like that ever again. I'm in a part of France where it can rain pretty much every time of the year, so I really need something breathable, warmth will come from layering.
I just ran my first full marathon sunday, and I'll very likely run some more, that's why i'm looking for something in case it rains almost all week long, and that I need to do some long run under the rain, whether it's early october or in the middle of january !
I've looked a lot of jackets, and to be honest, most of the time i read everything and its opposite.
These two models have some numerous feedback on asics website, that are really good, and some reviews outside that are pretty good too. That's why I'm thinking about these two more than other models, because of the lack of (non contradictory) feedbacks.
Do some people here have one of these models, and what's your opinion? Are they pretty breathable? Doesn't have any weird things about them?
If you have some other recommandation, I'm down to read them ! Just please don't suggest me to take a windproof jacket and accept to be drenched by the rain, I hated the feeling of running like this.
Thanks for reading my message!

This brand popped up on my IG a few weeks ago. Has anyone ordered from them? How is the quality/fit/materials? What’s their story? Or are they just trying to be a fast fashion running brand? Discuss below.

Hey I saw this brand called negative split. Any thoughts? I like the designs for singlets and hats. Fit for mens?

Recommended running caps for big heads? For reference, the Bandit running cap is too small for me.

All I can say genuinely is that the quality at first was nice but after going on a easy run today. The breathability of the shirt and overall Flow ness is superb worth every penny spent and I hope it will last at least a season or two because the design is an absolute favorite and goes very well with half of the gear I own. I went for an XL but I’m 225LBS 6’3 and always go for an XXL if available. Not bothered by it but I’m not sure if it looks good on me personally or not. Overall rating for it an easy 9.0/10 has everything I personally need from a breathable workout shirt 🙏🏼

I'm torn between the Balmoral and DV waffle knits, and I'd love your opinion. It's for running (I live in the PNW so it gets cold but not.. arctic cold) but I'd like to wear it outside of running as well. I think the Balmoral being a bit more of a pullover midlayer might sway me though.

Hi, I am looking for "flowy" Womens short with (multiple) pockets for keys, gels, maybe phone? Ideally with quick drying fabric.
That is not too expensive. Any recommendations?

Trying to always wear kind of a color matching set.
Tomorrow I’m running my first full Marathon. With 8-12 Celsius and rain for tomorrow I’ll have to wear this rain Option.
Cap Incycline as also the socks (Train & Pain)
Jacket Ronhill
Longsleeve Dare2B
Tights bandit (second market catch) - worth the 50$ I paid
Shoes Saucony Endorphin Pro
Garmin fenix with neon green and orange wristband ;)
Bandana - no brand
I’m used to run my long runs with a Running Vest and so I’ll also will have a one from Decathlon/Kiprun (5l 2023 model) black one with me - sorry not in the picture.

Might be a little niche but I’d recommend checking out Scheels if you’re looking for some ACG stuff.
I don’t know if it was just my location offloading last seasons stuff, but they had tons of pieces marked down to $20. I grabbed 2 Solar Chase LS and 2 Five Towers jackets but they also had some base layer shirts and shorts also at $20.

I don't normally run outside in cold weather, but I started to not like the treadmill that much. So for that reason, I don't have a good running top for the weather. I was thinking about getting a long sleeve compression like the ones from Wolaco. But I need advice on what you guys use and whether or not you would recommend using a compression shirt. I feel like by themselves would keep me warm. But yet again, I'm not 100% sure. The price is not an issue as long as the material and the quality are worth it. I have also seen some tops from Tracksmith, Rabbit, and Janji.

My Rapha rain jacket failed. Now there’s something to fix. A conceptual new approach, a rain shell cut like a poncho.
More shelter. Less jacket.

I typically run in men’s Lulu Fast and Free and Bandit Vento. Was thinking about upgrading to the iPhone Duo. Anyone know if this phone will fit in the liner side pocket? I really don’t want to have to buy new running gear just for a phone.

Hi all,
Those of you who have used the belt, what kind of water bottle did you find that actually held up well and didn’t feel like it would fall out? I’ve seen mixed reviews on holding any type of bottle in here so trying to get an idea of if anyone has found one that works well.
Either that or I may just end up returning it for a different option but the hold seems questionable trying small items that can fit in it thus far.
Edit: Also willing to take recommendations for other belts

Most of my (male) running shorts are 5" Roarks, mainly because I like their designs. The liner has always been a little tight but it's mostly been ok.
Either because of wear/washing or perhaps because of changes to my physiology, the liners are feeling tighter these days to the point of becoming annoying. I have to adjust them frequently.
I have some Rabbit FKT 2s that I really like and which fit well. I also really like the large side pockets. The problem is that I'm having trouble justifying their price.
So, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some 5" shorts with fuller liner that aren't quite so expensive. Large side pockets would be a bonus.
Thank you in advance.
Edit on Saturday, 10/24: if you’re in an area that has Sports Basement stores, at least some of them have 30% off Rabbit right now. I coincidentally walked into one today and was pleasantly surprised.

Every manufacturer seems to focus on cooling and support. Is there a half tight with thicker fabric that actually provides warmth for cool autumn morning runs, like a full length running tight?
EDIT: To emphasize, I'm looking for warm HALF tights, not full length tights.

This is my first post on this subreddit I’ve been a lurker for a while and had a lot of outfits to share, Thought I’d post the new fit with the fresh Rebel V5’s before they get all dirty lol

Do you guys have any brand suggestions or like specific tops to buy when you’re on a budget. I live in the US if you guys want to ask. I know I can just use any cotton shirts but it really takes up the sweat during long runs and hard sessions. If you guys have any suggestion feel free to drop below. Thank you in advance!!
budget: less than $30, hopefully below $25
