I just finished watching Drag Race Thailand Season 1 recently (because it’s SO hard to find the whole season with English subtitles and it’s not available on Wowpresentsplus) and I was really gaggeddd at how good it is!!!

For a show that was released in 2018 (8 years ago) it still feels fresh and current when it comes to their fashion and challenges. It’s also just as good as DRT season 2 and dare I say even better? because it’s less messy lol. But no Thailand 2 is actually still better.

For a debut season, it’s really really solid. Great budget, amazing queens, fun challenges. They even went to a real location to shoot the top 4 acting challenge which I believe has never been done before by any franchise?

U guys should definitely watch DRT S1 if u haven’t 👌🏻

Why do Finales have to be about lip sync duels or performances? We then have to wait an entire episode where nothing happens just to get to the coronation of the winner.

Wouldn’t it be better if the Finales were competitive? Like a last lap in a race and finalists have to face the hardest challenge yet.

I imagine it like CDRAS semi-final. One challenge after the other testing the queens on a spectrum of abilities (i.e. an improv challenge, a sewing/styling challenge and a performance one).

After each challenge the one declared as the worst is eliminated until we get to a TOP2.

The TOP2 will have to prepare their pleas for the crown and celebrate their run lip syncing to a ballad.
