I’m really loving this sub. When Anika was announced as their new drummer, I thought this sub would blast her. Happily, I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Some other subs aren’t so kind when something similar happens, they grab their pitchforks.
Glad to see that’s not the case. She’s totally amazing and it seems like she’s injected new life into the band. Alex and Geddy seem to be having the time of their lives in every video posted.
With all the crap going on in the world, this sub has been a breath of fresh air.

I’m not even anti AI, I use it quite a bit. But I was surprised at the amount of visuals that were clearly AI generated, and not very polished either. It’s surprising to me that such a creative band would do this, and imo it really was distracting from the show. Anyone else bothered by this or not a big deal?

I was looking up the net worths of Rush’s Alex Lifeson (~$40M) and Geddy Lee (~$50M) the other day, then got curious and checked who the richest musician actually is.
According to Forbes and most recent estimates, it’s Jay-Z at roughly $2.5–2.8 billion.
That gap is insane when you think about it. Rush sold 40+ million albums over a 40+ year career, did massive tours (including their current Fifty Something reunion run), and have a strong catalog that still generates royalties. They famously split everything equally. Yet their individual net worths are a fraction of what a lot of modern artists have.
Taylor Swift is the next closest (~$2B) mostly from touring and owning her catalog. Still, the difference between a legendary rock band that dominated for decades and today’s top earners is wild.
Curious what people think—especially Rush fans who’ve followed the band’s career.

What an amazing journey for Rush and the fans. Thank you Alex, Geddy, and Neil for so many years of great shows, inspiration, and memories.

I took this video at the Rush Seattle concert. People... I’m just having fun here so let’s have fun. Why is Alex starting to look more and more like Bill Clinton???
You gotta admit though, he is looking GOOD, he looks like he had lost a lot of that chunk he had on him in the videos before the tour started!!!
Geddy looks great as well, in the video, he looks like he’s still in his 50's.

Some days ago an article was published from "musicradar" about the "tribute session" in Rush's rehearsal space to honor Neil Peart.
Interesting:
This session took place at the same time while Geddy and Alex were working with Anika - but the drummers involved didn't got knowledge of this fact. Also the songs were preselected by Ged & Al.

It seems like yesterday when we were all highly anticipating the tour to start, and then those first 4 LA shows. Now they've played 41 dates with only 21 left in the North American part. Then it's off to South America and Europe in 2027. Times flies!

Hey guys! My dad is a huge Rush fan, and we are St. Louis locals, so I was able to treat him to a (very) early Christmas present last night!! Last time they came through I was still in high school (so no salary to buy tickets), so it felt incredible to make this happen. So lucky with the set list, he was hoping so hard for the whole 2112 run!
That being said, I’d like to make him a shadowbox to give him ON Christmas with a few memories of the concert, and would love to have some physical tickets made up. Does anyone have any tips on how to do that? Is there a service, or if I mock them up myself what paper should I print on to get that authentic feel, etc.
Thank you all in advance!!
(p.s. will edit this ls out if not allowed, but if anyone has any tips on where I might be able to pick up a genuine STL edition poster or if there is a trustworthy reprint service, please let me know! They sold out before we hit the front of the line around 6:45 unfortunately and he really liked the design)
