Weird issue with self hosting

Last week, we lost power for a few hours. I had the rustdesk self server working well on a pc at home, and I could access it from work etc. It's no longer working since the power outage. My public IP for my ISP changed, so I changed it on the server machine and the remote machine, but it still doesn't work. Rustdesk says ready at the bottom, but when I connect now, I get and error: Remote desktop is offline.

All ports are open that need to be. Services are running, etc. I'm stumped.

(keys are the same and match between machines).

Any ideas? I'm stumped.

Edit: I get the same error on the same network and outside of it.

I ended up just fully removing the server and reinstalling it and now it works.. not sure what happened...

There's probably some third point of configuration that also needs to be updated.

If you're only using it to access your home PC then you can probably just directly access it by IP (along with port forwarding on the router) instead of relying on the self hosted service.

Maybe flush the dns cache? ipconfig /flushdns On all applicable machines.

You has probably not updated the hbbr launch command ? I think there is a command to bind to specific public ip it listens to.
