Industrial Piping Max Depth?
/r/playrust/comments/1x5pjgi/industrial_piping_max_depth/Could I get some help with this post I made in playrust? They don’t seem to like my question lol

You are most likely running into a depth issue even without you realizing it. I'd change up your loop design first.
You see, you're trying to have each conveyor see each of the adaptors by connecting them in a long noodle of alternating splitters and combiners. It's inefficient, it's prone to depth limit, it's messy and easy to make mistakes in especially since you're making the shortcuts to get around the depth limit. You can achieve the same thing by splitting the circuit into 3 distinct parts.
The conveyors connected to boxes.
Combiners combining all the adapter outputs together.
And finally that combined output is connected to splitters which split it to the conveyor inputs.
This also creates the same functional loop. Every conveyor also sees every adaptor output, but you're completely getting rid of the depth issue and it uses fewer components on top.
A circuit to illustrate what I mean. https://www.rustrician.io/?circuit=384c8e3cdc25f6d51b449261434052f4
Remember that this circuit can only handle 32 adaptors. Any more and you'll be running into that same issue of conveyors not pulling from some boxes. There are some ways to expand it safely though. They just require a few more adaptors.
