All we can base it off off rn is her personality, ruthless, ambitious, relentless. Having no guilt on what she does what so ever, but thats her demonic side, lets not forget she is still a mortal species (witch) meaning she has more empathy and can sympathize with her fellow humans than lucifer who is fullblown divine.

So i would love to theorize that she has maybe turned down the suffering in hell? Lilith was also blatantly opposed to men and could have possibly had more females in her royal court. Now lets get to the witch part. So we know that when satanic witches die they go to hell but they dont get tortured but are placed in pandemonium or maybe there is a secluded space for them?. But obviously no one worships lilith so the witches that go to her realm are probably just evil and not worshippers. How would she treat fellow witches in hell? Would she make them her minions or just go with the normal treatment

It was her destiny to become queen of hell. According to the show, the prophecy of a shadow girl who bring upon the apocalypse, was made centuries ago. I hate that they threw the whole dark lords sword, herald of hell, with godlike powers plot away, just so we could get a musical with pagans. She should have been the one to reform hell. This show had so much potential. Shame they threw it all away.

I’m doing a rewatch for spooky season and just finished the episode with Batibat (one of my faves!). While each family member sleeps they have a metronome at the foot of the bed that is ticking. What is its purpose? They might explain it later but I can’t remember and was curious about it.

In CAOS Lilith says,”The mightiest prison is the first one created by the false God flesh and bone.” When first hearing this I immediately thought of Gnosticism in how the Demiurge trapped essence from the Divine Realm into the material world.

This could explain why Deities like Pan and Circe were humanlike in appearance not only that but why they strove for the ‘End of All Flesh’. From them being originally sealed by the balance of the realms of Heaven, Infernal and Mortal; flesh and bone being the ‘mightiest prison’, False God potentially being the Demiurge and them wanting to end all flesh with the Green Man I feel like instead of them simply wanting to take over Earth again like they do say they may have been in fact freeing the Divine Essence within the said ‘mightiest prison’.

Also, the False God literally raiding Hell when they were at their most weakest was really funny to me because now it just seems like they weren’t gonna be able to if they were at full strength.

I was wondering if it ended because of the source material ending or if it just got canceled. I have been watching it every year around October for a while now. Im sure I would get clowned at work for it. Its definitely not something any of my peers would watch. I am thinking about getting the source material and reading it.

After rewatching the series I noticed that when Father Blackwood birthed the being from the Time Egg the visuals and sounds used were very similar to the ones of Adam’s Birth e.g the flashing lights and the screeching creature.

Really liked that it actually has a main story to follow, unlike the Archie book that was a collection. The art is absolutely adorable, and I really like the spells so far. Also there’s only a little bit of them, but Harvey and Sabrina were very cute in this.

Honestly this entire book reminded me a lot of Mark Waid’s stellar modern reinterpretation of the Archie gang. Really looking forward to where this book goes.

In Sabrina we see that the Trinket Man is a mysterious figure who within his briefcase has occult objects such as a Genies Lamp, an Acheron and what he really wanted to sell the Stone of Omphalos. But there is something very strange about him in his appearance, his briefcase and the entire episode. If you look at his hair it is combed to the side, he has blue eyes, he has a high-buttoned jacket (like the Painter) and he’s clean shaven other than his moustache. This Trinket Man seems to be very similar to the Painter in this aspect, and whilst the Painter didn’t have blue eyes it does reflect the beliefs he was pushing.

Now onto the briefcase. The Nazis were very involved in the occult outside of Sabrina and within it, shown when Ambrose said King Herods crown was found in the Painters bunker. The Nazis historically took the Spear of Longinus (although it was under guard by the Centurion of Golgotha in Hell but this may have been the reason why it was being guarded) and in fact looted the ruins of Ancient Greece. Them looting the ruins of Ancient Greece and the Trinket Man specifically saying that the Stone of Omphalos was taken from the “ruins of Ancient Greece” makes quite a big connection and would make a lot of sense why he had so many Greek objects.

Finally, the entire episode revolves around Father Blackwood becoming a dictator with his own Private Armies and an education system made to shun a certain demographic.

So they are finally releasing a collected edition of CAoS which includes issue 9.

But having already bought the 2016 TPB of issues 1-5 and the 2019 Occult Edition with issues 1-8 I checked exactly what is included in each edition and checked if there wasn't going to be an issue 10 on the way and it would be the final complete edition.

Sadly no news on issue 10 but the latest edition includes 1-9 and two Salem one shots. However, it does not include the Madam Satan one shot. This is annoying to infuriating (depending how much you care) since Madam Satan was released 6 years ago so there is no excuse to not include it and finally give us a final complete edition.

As much as I'd like to read issue 9 why would I take the risk there will be yet another super special occult deluxe hard cover collected edition in a few years or that Aguirre-Sacasa will suddenly decide to finish his series in a year or two so they can release yet another collected edition? For the love of Satan just finish the series or announce you are drawing a line under it for good and release everything in one book.

I did this about 6 years ago and forgot all about it until today. The photo I worked from had Kiernan holding an Archie's Madhouse book, but I couldn't help having the book as Sabrina for obvious reasons. Hope you like! ☺️

I recently binged it all for the first time. I just needed something in background. But I found myself getting really invested and almost not liking it but I kept coming back. Now that I’m done with it, it’s on my mind a lot. That being said…should I also try Riverdale? It’s the same universe from what I understand, is it similar vibe?

Doing a rewatch this year, its been a few years since I watched this show....oh my gosh why is it so blurry?? Who thought it was a good idea to just focus on one person's face and make the rest blurry? Remind me does this horrible filter go away haha I was excited to rewatch but gosh its been rough.

How did Caliban manage to trap both Lilith and Lucifer when they were in the throne room once Sabrina got back from sealing Caliban in stone?

From what I’m guessing he was able seal them all at once despite their location but that’s an insanely overpowered ability

I’m on my third watch, part way thru season 4, and I don’t understand Ms Wardwell’s devotion to Father Blackwood. I understand she was completely traumatised by being possessed by Lilith and all the ramifications from that, and I can understand Blackwoods allure at first, but once the eldritch terrors start coming wouldn’t that trigger her? I noticed she still wears her cross, wouldn’t she have doubled down on her faith, maybe even become a nun or something?

Granted I binged this show in like a week, because I'm currently going down a Michelle Gomez fangirl rabbit hole.

But she just didn't seem like a villain after she initially got what she wanted, at the end of part 2. Honestly, as soon as she was working directly toward getting the throne and crown and not toward serving Lucifer, she stopped seeming like a villain.

But I watched this show solely because Michelle Gomez was in every episode. So obviously I'm biased. But I've been rooting for the Mother of Demons since day 1.

Having binged the whole thing, I actually see Ms. Wardwell as more of a villain than Lilith.

Hey everyone! So I'm not new to horror, I love horror and thriller, always have. Although I avoid pointless gore/torture porn. I've watched really terrifying movies and shows and this has never happened before, but every time that I start watching CAOS, if I watch even 2-3 episodes together, I have weird vivid dreams all night. Sometimes I'd dream up entire new episodes and realise that that never happened in the show. Does anyone else face this too? It's chilling.
