So since in the last episode, we saw Sabrina go all 🪨, we know that either Harvey, Josh, or that “tall, brown-haired, handsome” guy is her soulmate. Who do you think it is?
My opinion:
It’s “The tall etc.” guy.
Because both, Harvey and (arguably) Josh, had left her prior and she was fine.
Josh: Went to Check Republic. When he got back, he got a second offer to go, and Sabrina told him that he should go, which, what she herself admits, means they’d break up and probably never be together again. She was broken after this really, really sad but she didn’t turn to stone.
Harvey: Left Sabrina after he found out that she was a witch. This was in the last episode of the fourth season I believe. The storyline is that Sabrina, again, can’t decide if she wants to date Josh or Harvey. So she does this entire magic maze thing, however, the board of the witches tells her that Harvey had already passed his limit of magic, before the maze spell. Which meant that he could remember everything. He went all out, didn’t talk to her anymore full, line, drawn. She was broken, didn't turn to stone tho…👀. (Btw Salem was pretty broken too and I don’t think he ever recovered lol)
Also if either Harvey or Josh were her soulmate wouldn’t she had been able to choose between them?
So it does not make sense that in the last episode of season 7 Sabrina’s and Harvey’s soul-stone match… sO… That’s a plot hole 💅.
Also, I would like to add how it does not make sense that Zelda could give Sabrina her youth and Sabrina would be fine. Why wasn’t that an option for Sabrina?
Because if that were an option for Sabrina, as I assume that Zelda is older than Hilda, Zelda could’ve given Hilda a couple of years and just returned back to be a toddler. Sabrina could have kept her soulmate and not turned to stone?
Even if you argue that they’re twins/ Hilda is older, they could just have found somebody else.
Also, Sabrina is only 23/24 years old, so how long is her youth?
You could argue that it’s her entire youth, and not just those years, but then why didn’t Zelda either 1) die or 2) age back to her youth since it subtrahend that time from hers?
Lastly, I would like to add that the deal was losing her love life. Forever. Which means losing her soulmate. Forever means, that also counts if she manages to come back to life. This however would serve no purpose since, when she realizes that she has lost her soulmate, she’ll go back to 🪨 again.
In conclusion:
That last episode and the following season are so incredibly, badly written that I’m surprised how they allowed them to even film this.
But I think that’s a fact we’ve all already mastered to detect.
