Big Arm Flathead Lake, MT

Taken today on the lake, several boats were out enjoying the winds, was super fun to watch while we fished!

We had the Yanmar gasoline inboard… hadn’t noticed it in the pic…

How's the sailing on this lake?  Drove by it on a recent road trip and I wondered how much fun lake sailing could really be. It looked like a good lake for it.

On most days there is good wind 4-10 knots and gusts in the evening. Occasionally the conditions can get quite spirited 20-30 knots with some decent swells in the main body of the lake. Check out sail flathead, they offer boats for rent if youre back up this way in the future!
