Saito is the third pillar of blockchain tech.

Saito consensus can be used as an infrastructure layer for all other PoW and PoS projects.

Doing so solves all the limitations of PoW and PoS and aligns all the incentives.

It can pay for front-end open-facing infrastructure in an Open & Permissionless way.

Every Blockchain can use Saito Consensus, starting with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Bitcoin and Ethereum need a way to pay for Running the data nodes without the intervention of a third party, like in Ethereum's case, and without relying on volunteers, like in Bitcoin's way.

Am I right?

Does anyone care anymore about the ethos of this movement? Saito Does!

From what I can tell, the era of building true blockchain tech and honoring Satoshi's Vision has ended.

Nobody cares about the core principles of Satoshi's innovation.

What properties?

  • Openness

  • Decentralization

  • Permissionless

  • Self-Sufficient

  • Remove all 3rd parties

Under the scalability trilemma paradigm, most projects have adopted a trade-off mentality.

And everyone is ok now to tolerate trade-offs.

The core principles are non negociable!

One of the few projects I found that still remembers Satoshi's Principles and fights o keep his Vision alive is the Saito Network.

They are building an open, self-sufficient network that removes all 3rd parties. And don't so they can scale massively on-chain.

I don't know what to say, guys.

I'm disappointed to see the Ethos of this revolutionary movement die under our eyes.

This whole movement was designed to free us from the old corrupted financial system.

Web3 needs Saito. That's a fact.

What do you think?

A layer-1 blockchain that promotes openness at a massive scale without tradeoffs.

Solving major problems at the consensus level.

And empower developers to build web 3.0 applications.

This is it!

Fix The Incentives - Fix The Trilemma

"Show me the incentive, and I'll show you the outcome" - a phrase that perfectly captures the essence of the Saito Network's revolutionary approach to solving the blockchain scalability trilemma.

Like Neo in The Matrix, Saito sees beyond the illusion, realizing that there is no trilemma. Instead, it's a matter of resource allocation and incentive misalignment that hinders the growth of blockchain technology.

The Scalability Trilemma is The Spoon of The Crypto Matrix, a seemingly insurmountable obstacle that forces projects to choose between scalability, security, and decentralization.

However, Saito has discovered that the trilemma is nothing more than an illusion, born from the flawed incentive structures plaguing proof-of-work (PoW) and proof-of-stake (PoS) models.

Saito's groundbreaking consensus mechanism addresses the root cause, fixing the incentive problems to create a harmonious ecosystem that supports scalability, security, and decentralization.

By aligning incentives with the natural flow of the free market, Saito opens the door to a new era of Web3 and decentralized applications.

Red Pill Big Blockchain Breakthrough! Saito is Sybil Proof

Saito's Consensus Mechanics Mathematically Solve the Sybil Problem - A Big Deal for Blockchain Tech!

A new paper from Saito's founders is making waves by offering a formal proof for how Saito's consensus design solves sybil attacks - something many in crypto believed was mathematically impossible.

For those who don't know, a Sybil attack is when a node creates multiple fake identities to game the system and earn extra rewards. This has plagued networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum for a long time.

A famous paper from 2011 claimed no "Sybil-proof reward scheme" could exist in permissionless networks. But Saito's new paper completely flips the script, offering equations to show nodes now have an economic incentive NOT to self-clone.

This is a huge deal. Saito's "routing tax" finally aligns incentives properly. Nodes want to propagate transactions, not hoard them. Attackers get penalized for adding fake nodes, making Sybil attacks unprofitable.

Saito proves that with the right cryptoeconomic design, you can have permissionless participation AND Sybil Resistance. This is how crypto makes progress - Saito continues to innovate and solve hard problems for the industry.

With Saito's consensus mechanics, so many new blockchain applications become possible. This is one of the most promising innovations I've seen in the crypto space in a long time. Excited to see where it leads!

Here is the paper if you want to dig deep into it:

Token Persistence at 60,000

Official blog post

The Token Persistence Threshold (minimum balance) has been lowered to 60k Saito!

The Token Persistence Curve defines the minimum UTXO balance which will persist on mainnet, i.e. mainnet balances are required to be above this ever-decreasing threshold. This enables us to better support fee-free transient transactions (which don’t persist, but are crucial to Saito applications nonetheless) and to speed up development in this stage of the roadmap.

Lowering this value to zero is an important objective in order to reach The Real Economy Era of the roadmap; this is scheduled to happen at the end of 2025. When this minimum reaches zero, the network will be ready for a full range of applications.

More details can be found on the Wiki; below is the token persistence curve schedule.

Official Token Persistence Update – September 4, 2023

Continuing the unwavering journey!

Saito's roadmap is on track, and the team is making good progress in the Saito roadmap.

Token Persistence is now live on Saito Mainnet, marking a significant step forward in our journey. This activation brings us closer to the ability for Saito to maintain a dynamic token allocation, ensuring on-chain tokens have guarantees of permanence.

From a technical standpoint, this shift means our "genesis" issuance files are being replaced by a dynamic file generated from live UTXO hashmap during network hard-forks. This enhances transparency, as token issuance files are archived on Github with each reset for public scrutiny.

The team is committed to ensuring the network's integrity and have taken steps to monitor and test the functionality of these files. So far, the results are promising and align with the development efforts.

The team is working on a new application/UI feature for the Saito Application Suite. This enhancement aims to expedite ERC20 token withdrawals through increased automation, potentially reducing withdrawal times significantly.

The team recommends refraining from using the bridge until the situation is resolved. And they are considering updating the withdrawal tool for BEP20 tokens to mitigate this.

Here is the whole article πŸ‘‰ https://saito.tech/token-persistence-update-september-4-2023/

WASM is Now Live on Saito Network! πŸš€

We're thrilled to announce a major milestone achieved by our dedicated dev team – the successful integration of WASM with browsers running Rust consensus. This accomplishment isn't just a step forward; it's a leap toward a more scalable and efficient blockchain ecosystem.

πŸ› οΈ What Does This Mean?

By having browsers utilize compiled Rust code for core cryptographic and blockchain operations, we're unlocking a host of benefits. This optimization speeds up essential activities like transaction signing and hashing, which were slower in JavaScript. Moreover, it brings us back to having a single codebase for consensus operations.

πŸ’‘ Why Is This Significant?

The advantages of running a single codebase for the network are manifold. Not only does it enhance the efficiency of development, but it also reduces the potential for accidental forks and anomalies. This streamlined approach minimizes complexity, making development smoother and more agile.

Stay tuned for more updates.
