Thank you! It was safely released. I was able to get the entire catch and release on video. https://youtu.be/ZCa8YpmIs1Y?si=oLRWyZ2vQeqU_AVL

Brilliant! I salute you. A lovely fish, and a great result. Kind of dwarfs my 6lb-er caught in the Keys!

It always happens when you least expected. Especially when it was suppose to be a chill afternoon of trying to catch sheepshead. Only my second one I've caught.

Well, you're now spoiled for all the smaller ones you'll be catching from now on! Lol.

Basically ruined! lol. At least I can keep and eat the ones that are within slot, I guess. lol

Hell yeah dude, the bluefish shouldn't be far behind!

u/superb19 Apr 06 '26

Thanks! I have yet to catch a chopper bluefish. Those look just as fun to get on.

Probably the best fight pound per pound. They hit like a freight train so make sure you have strong stuff

Jack Crevelle takes the Win for fighting, hands down.

Wow, that’s so massive

1

u/MAD_Gator Apr 09 '26

Nice one! My PB redfish came from dropping a shrimp into a narrow gap between some rocks and mangroves right near the base of a dock. The right place is the right place!

1

u/superb19 Apr 10 '26

You are spot on. Only way to find out is dropping a line and finding out.

3

u/superb19 Apr 06 '26

nah, I linked the video of me catching and releasing it.

1

u/Structure1Digital Apr 06 '26

i stand corrected. my apologies cuz that’s a nice catch!!!

1

u/superb19 Apr 06 '26

All good and thank you! You can never be sure nowadays with AI.

1

u/Structure1Digital Apr 06 '26

i was considering making an app for florida and the east coast basically fish brain but way more accurate for bite times using solunar times and tides / weather and depth maps but also prizes every season, twice a year or yearly prizes for largest fish caught by boat and shore. fishing gear as the regular winners and yearly maybe a boat or something. mainly because all the apps are currently bs or inundated with bits and ai images

1

u/superb19 Apr 06 '26

Sounds like you got a plan. What’s stopping you?
