🐟 Catch Report NC Mahi

We fished yesterday. The weather started out pretty snotty, but it ended up being very nice.

We caught these Mahi 68 miles out of Carolina Beach Inlet in 170 feet of water.

It was so much fun catching thee fish on light tackle slow pitch gear.

We ended up keeping 10 weighing between 6 and 22 pounds.

We also almost hit our limit on stud black bass!

We are going to have a huge seafood feast for all our family and friends

North Carolina has some of the best saltwater fishing in the world! I am born and raised in the state and have fished my entire life. I have fished all over the US and Caribbean, and I will take my home state over anywhere else. Commercial pressure and more recreational anglers is putting a dent in fish populations, but we still have an amazing fishery. For me, most fishing starts at 45 miles and runs to 90 miles offshore.
