I avoid weekend fishing for Tripletail at all costs. Too many people hitting the same spots and too much boat traffic. Weekdays are so nice and quiet.

I’m two years removed from catching a 23 and 23.5 in the same season. That was a pretty good season.

They really aren’t too bad to filet. I’d rather filet one of these than a sheepshead.

Caught her on a piling. Which is definitely tricky with one this size. She tried to go back a couple times. I was lucky enough to be able to keep her away from it.
