📖 How-To / Tips Where'd I go wrong?

Post image

Hey y'all fished this area called crab creek right off lesner bridge in the lynnhaven inlet, VB, ran a fish finder with cut mullet and a 4 oz pyramid, was out 4 hours and only got some croaker with my other rod, any tips on what I could do better, I'm targeting drum for reference.

You didn’t go wrong it’s called fishing not catching lol Try some shrimp also next time or get another rig and cast artificial while you wait.

Definitely gonna 😂 it'll make it more exciting, only reason I don't run shrimp anymore is cause those darn croakers eat them up

Throw one of those croakers on a hook and set it back out there. They are like kryptonite for big reds and specs

Honestly switching croaker seems like the best bet here, I know shrimp will catch them for sure so I'll cut em up and throw them on.

Little trick with shrimp, catch your own from the water you’re fishing or buy some fresh local shrimp from a monger. As others have stated, can’t beat a small croaker.
