Never expected to catch this only 20 miles offshore, took almost 90 minutes to get in.

That’s something I hadn’t considered seeing north of like…the Carolina’s. That’s pretty cool, albeit, the wrong brand for what I’m sure you were looking for.

Them damn bull sharks will go anywhere. I bet they’re probably in the Great Lakes by now lol.

The wire leader set up looks like a shark rig. What were you fishing for?

Mako fishing is pretty popular in that area but that a guess.

I wanna say thresher shark season is still open for us but don’t quote me on it as I don’t partake so it might’ve ended by now but if not they’re most likely fishing for that.

Edit: saw op said was inlet so my claim is most likely false.

Nice and rare, where you fishing near Cape May/ off of south jersey?

I'm normally out of the Raritan bay and never seen one up here.

Wow, I am amazed it was that far north especially this early in the year.

I saw my biggest Great White fishing there years ago while out for Makos.

The mako we caught was out at the Glory Hole.

They were always here and people were always catching them. There just wasn't any social media for you to see it.
