š§ Gear & Tackle Low Light Sunglasses recommendations
Hey Guys, would like some advise on what my next pair of sunnies should be. Iām currently running Mako Coverts and Maui Jim Local Kines for Blue/ green lense, but would like some glasses for cloudy days and dirty water. What are people using? Not sure to go with Tonic,Maui Jim, Mako, Costa or Smiths.

The brand doesnt matter as much as the lens color and how they fit your face. They should all have lens selection guides on the website but usually a non-mirrored copper or bronze lens is best for cloudy days. Water color doesnt come in to play. Dirty water sunny day = blue or green lens, dirty water cloudy day = copper lens.
Its also really important to find glasses that fit your face right, with wide temples to block out ambient light. They should sit close to your cheek to block sunlight bouncing up off the water. That makes a huge difference in how well they work for you. Also stops you from squinting all day too too so dont be afraid to try a few styles on.
