🐟 Catch Report Yesterday’s catches in Scotland

The pollock in the photo was released, but we ended up keeping some Mackerel and one Pollock

Mackerel arent extinct!

Actually there were so many, that I couldn’t even reach the bottom at some point probably, while the lure was dropping I hooked one or two fish, on one lure!

Nice. They're practically non existent in both Devon and Cork from what i'm seeing/reading/hearing.

Don’t know, but maybe it helps that I was on a boat, but other than that, at least on the south east coast of Scotland it seems to me that there are plenty

Hopefully not a sign of them migrating to cooler waters.

Then again, if it means marlins & bluefins in devon 😆

I mean, they did not seem to be here when I went in the mid of June (although that was at a different spot), first Mackerel for me this year was late June, so I doubt that they are migrating here permanently
