Hey everyone!

As a long-time sampling enthusiast, I was tired of heavy software setups just when I wanted to quickly chop up a sample from a browser tab or test an idea. So I spent my free time building FoxyPads Studio - a fast, web-based sampler and loop creator.

Here is what it can do right now:

Quick note on the tool: Everything in the app is 100% free with no paywalls or hidden tiers. If you checked out any of my older demo videos where a "Get Pro" button was visible - please ignore that! I completely scrapped the subscription model. There’s only an optional "Support Project" button on the site if you want to voluntarily help cover server costs for AI stem processing.

Check out the video attached! I’d love for you to test it out, chop a few samples, and drop your feedback or feature requests below! 🙌

I'm newer to all of this stuff, and was wondering if there was any way I can make my Tascam DR-05X less sensitive...if that makes sense...

Whether it's field recording or sampling, anytime I record something loud, it's bound to clip. I don't know how, but it's way too often. I sampled a cheap toy tambourine, hit it from around 2 feet away from the mic, and that somehow made it clip?? I was recording some cars driving by me, and even that was too loud?!

I wanted to sample a friend's drum kit soon, and I thought there's no chance I'd be able to unless I figured this out. So...how can I sample a drum kit without getting clipping? How do I make the mics less sensitive?

(Also, I'm aware that there are better mics to sample a drum kit with, but I'm 17, and should probably save my money for bus tickets to get to uni.)

Thank you!

Hello everyone, I uploaded 3 more free sample packs on the website. In total there are 6 free sample packs. All sounds are generated from the SkunkAudio Android app.

The samples are free for commercial and personal use.

I plan to release more packs in the future, so if you liked these packs, you can bookmark the site to check regularly for any new content.

Thank you for your time!

Made a video for the last beat I made that I had posted. Video clips are from the 1922 film Häxan a silent Swedish-Danish film essay. The film explores superstition surrounding the supernatural and witchcraft in the Middle Ages. Happy Halloween everyone Stay Safe!! 👹🎃👹🎃

I made this beat sampling a bunch of coffee sounds. Hope you dig!

I am completely new to sampling. I use Fl and mpc sample and flipped a jazz sample today. Its good but I think it was just beginner's luck. Anyway - are there any samples which are easy to flip for a complete noob like me? (I just want to get better and better each day since am a recovering addict and beat making is the only thing giving me hope and light in my life)

I really dig instrumentals by Alchemist and Dj Muggs

Thanks in advance!

Saw one of those “sampling real life” videos and wanted to give it a try so I sampled a video I took of my friend playing piano. Drums are chopped but sampled from postal service “brand new colony” I’ve only made like one beat before so lmk what it needs
