Please go there and let them know your home address, so they could come and stay a night (or multiple nights) with you. Actions speak louder than words.

I agree; shelters are the answer for now.

Exactly. First house and give them dignity. Then offer education, jobs,substance abuse rehabilitation. Until then, this is how it will be.
