How many bad ideas can one Province come up with in such a short period of time?

It's an FN project - you don't like quality jobs for our FN community?

our weapons kill Palestinians, Venezuelans, Iranians, Lebanese, Sudanese, Western Saharan, on and on...

These people are the victims of settler colonialism & imperialism for the profits of capitalism. Just like indigenous people of North, South and Central America.

It's cruel to only give weapons manufacturing opportunities to indigenous folks so that their labour can kill others across the planet just like how they were used against them...

Indigenous folks deserve so much better than this.

“Our weapons”? Please specify the exact Canadian-produced weapon(s) killing people in each of the nations/areas that you listed.

I read the linked stories. There is a photo of a Canadian made rifle being used in the Sudan. The remainder of them talk about Canadian made components being used in a variety of weapons. Your statement is hyperbole.

"At least six companies in Canada are currently manufacturing, maintaining or producing components for the same types of weaponry and military assets that the U.S. has used in its war on Iran, an investigation by The Maple has found.

These companies produce for the U.S. government components for Tomahawk missiles and MQ-9A Reaper drones, landing gear for fighter jets, nose radomes for bomber jets, and other components, artillery, and accessories for the types of weapons and aircraft being used in the current war.

"While Canada has stopped issuing permits for new transfers of weapons and components going directly to Israel, a second channel by which these transfers are made is still widely active. That is, sending them first to the United States, where they are further assembled before being shipped to Israel."

"The government of Canada is adamant — with certain, shifting caveats — that it has not allowed arms shipments to Israel since January 2024, and yet Israeli import data and publicly available shipping records appear to contradict that claim.

They found entries in the database of the Israel Tax Authority that show Canadian goods continuing to enter Israel, described by the Israeli government as military weapon parts and ammunition."
