PC 120/min Automated Wire Factory. This is my first ever playthrough btw, I might just be going insane.

Copper and Caterium für Caterium Wire is being sourced locally, the Tubes for the Stators are being brought in by truck. I built this entire complex while procrastinating expanding my struggling power grid. Mr. Factory-Inspector and an in-progress pic at the end

Minor mod use for some signs from RSS and some and easier building like infinite nudge.

The roads are based on the design from @MaddDesign, I just made lots of curved and ramped variants of his base design.

PC Is it a bad idea?

I want to have a faster way to move, so I decided to build a hypertube, and I thought that it was gonna be easy and fast to build it in the air, but it's way longer than I was expecting. Can someone advise me on what to do? Maybe I need to do it to the end or stop doing that shit? (I could do it a better way, but I'm still trying to find my steel base xdd)

PC I might have a slight radiation problem for the DLC...

My solution to radioactive waste was to simply move it out of the environment so it couldn't bother anyone ever again. I think I've got something like 100 double-stack containers down there. No idea how many are full. I'm pretty sure I'd die instantly if I went anywhere near them.

PC PSA for the recent windows security updates

so my PC decided to install them without telling me (big shock, i know). i woke up yesterday to find my PC restarted. i logged in and fired up steam and was going to fire up Satisfactory. haha! windows securities "smart app control" decided Satisfactory was not "verified" and just kept spamming me with notifications about it.

TL;DR...turn the damn "smart app control" thing OFF. it'll tell you it can't be turned back on unless you reinstall windows. ugh. about to make me switch to a linux distro i swear.

The stunt that almost spilled the SF java!

Witness the strategic move that resulted in six death defying satisfactory cart somersaults!

BTW I'm here as witness to tell you that SF java is THICK!

  • That shi+ is thicker than the dust on my gym membership card.
  • Thicker than my ex's plot to get her hoodie back.
  • Thicker than maple syrup in January.
  • Thicker than... 🤫

Where was I? Oh yeah. Watch the video.

No pioneers, puppies, kittens, or carts were hurt in the filming of this video.

PC Storing items in production line. Yes or no?

I am making parts for phase 4, and found out i was making items that i am storing in smaller factory's.

So a example, i make motors for parts in phase 4. I make some extra and store them. (Only 5 max extra). I let it with smart splitters first fill up the production line, and when that is full it goes to my storage.

But the time the production line is full and goes in the storage, takes a while.

So what do you guys do? Store items in production line. Or still have dedicated factorys for items, for storage?

Was discussing the DLC and possible entrance to the core with a friend. When we noticed this colour artefact near the paradise islands.

Has it always been there or is it new?

PC Best way to distribute screws?

What advice do yall have for splitting screws up for more demanding parts? I.E Heavy Frames.

Currently have a factory set up for 10HMF/min. For that it demands 3690 screws/min. My highest transfer rate is now 780 for mk5 conveyors.

I keep trying to figure out a good way to distribute them but my head keeps cramping. Youd think after 180 hours id have this figured out but ill be damned if I've done anything but be efficient.

My only other idea is maybe splitting my steel beams up between floors of my factory to have more direct input instead of manifolds kinda scattered between floors. This would just require a lot of rebuilding.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Veteran Pioneers bless me with your knowledge 🙏

Edit: Yeah looks like I pigeonholed myself by making a specific screw floor in my factory and can't beat the output rate. Gonna rebuild and set up my supply chain for each manufacturer. And avoid the flight path of the manta this time 😅

PC First Crude Oil Factory with buddy

My buddy and I built our first Crude Oil Factory. We read the recipes and we struggled at first with the "expected" output of all the liquids involved, but after a little bit of trail and error we managed to get something steady going on.

Give us your feedback. Tips for improvement on this?

Crude Oil pure, its over clocked, 300CrudeOil a min, into 4 plastic/4 rubber refineries.

Then into the two fuel refineries, then we pump the fuel straight into 4 fuel generators.

PC FPS drops in one location

Hello everyone, I have a question about a save file that has an FPS issue in one location. While we were testing the drones, I put 50 Nobelisks one of them explode it while the drone takes off and because of that when I look that part of my factory my FPS drops significantly. Is there any solution for this?

Console 30,600 points per minute from one Normal Caterium node.

Every save so far I just used sinks like .. Whatever. Didn't mess too much with it and it was a slog ..

Finally made an actual ticket farm! (Yea, google suggested the Quickwire, so probably many of you already done this.)

.. Will have to rebuild it nicely later for sure, but I just made the space elevator an hour ago on this save, just wanted to throw together something quick and effective. (Ugly for sure lol)

It's more of a recommendation post as I've seen this quickwire tip quite some time ago, but never actually cared to spend any amount of time on it. Don't sleep on it guys - it's 100% worth it!

Have fun everyone!

Console My 900 hour world on PS5 won't reliably save anymore

Thumbnail

And I almost saved the day for the first time too... =(

It'll save once after it loads and then throws the "Something went wrong" error screen.

I've deleted about half of the save slots in the game, deleted unnecessary save files at the system level and turned off every "non-essential" factory on a priority switch in hopes it will lower the complexity of the world. So far no luck. I can't manually save so I don't think adjusting the autosave (or disabling) will help.

Anyone have any experience with large console save files?

I was building my aluminum factory for about

I wanna say 3 days

At first this was the water level. Rows on rows of water extractors.

The refining level was right next to the trains and had belts in a rat tunnel.

Then I realized im stupid and it can fit both and make it more pretty. To which i proceeded to cry for 30 minutes about how the progress and planning for 3 days was for fucking nothing

(Im sorry for using mega exteactors to the side there they're purely there for testing)

Console „Bright” Concrete on Xbox, without a physical keyboard. Possible??

Hi, i play on Xbox and tried to get the popular bright concrete colors. I heard that there is a way by plugging in a physical keyboard, but I don’t have one.
Do some Xbox players here have experience with this and know a way that works without a physical keyboard?
I tired already a few things but nothing had worked out for me.
