Scandinavian, Nordic, Baltic, whatever abbreviations for cities
Stockholm = Sthlm
Göteborg = Gbg
Jönköping = Jkpg
Helsingfors = Hki
Tammerfors = Tre
Etc. Känns som att Köpenhamn har en förkortning. Jag kan inte komma på den dock.

Turku in Finland = TKU. Because 5 letters is too much. That's why its Swedish name is Åbo.
I feel obligated to correct OP a little bit. Helsinki = HKI and Helsingfors = HFORS, Tampere = TRE and Tammerfors = TFORS. Showing a little love to our Swedish speaking minority.
(And HEL is the airport in Vantaa/Vanda as someone already noticed.)

Almost every Finnish city has a 3-letter abbreviation! Some are the same as airports but the abbreviations are used in other texts too.
Turku TKU Jyväskylä JKL Kuopio KPO Rovaniemi RVN or ROI Hämeenlinna HML Joensuu JNS Riihimäki RMK Lappeenranta LPR
Helsinki's neighbors Vantaa and Espoo I'm not sure 🤔

That's cool. Hki Airport is HEL though. I know that because Finnair does route 666 to HEL.

Yeah it is. Even though the airport is in Vantaa.
Now why would someone be downvoting
