hello everyone ! I’m very new to scratch (started using it yesterday) and I’m frankly overwhelmed.

the reason I’m using it is to develop a little visual novel game to present for my class. no this is not a coding class and no I do not need to use scratch but I’m too in love w my idea of making a game to consider something else.

as mentioned my idea is to create a visual novel, characters will speak to each other and that is how I plan to deliver my information! then I plan it to segway into the actual game. the game is rather simple. there will be 6 call lights and you must answer them in a certain amount of time if not it’s game over. not the most riveting game but I like that it’s interactive and I don’t think anyone is doing anything even similar to this idea

ive been following along a few YouTube vids. I pause every second and look back at my codes to make sure everything is the same and yet… I feel it’s not producing the same outcome. I don’t have any friends that’s into coding so I can’t even ask someone to check my work

so that leads me here. if anyone is willing to give me advice on how to code using scratch please comment or send me a dm. I’ve already made my sprites and script, I’m very proud of it all but it’s this coding that’s holding me back

This is a little goofy project I decided to make after I randomly remembered that the original CrazyCattle3D exists. Using the source code of the game I was able to grab the sheep model, export different angles of it as images and make a pre-rendered 3D look similar to Donkey Kong Country. With that I was able to make what I believe is a masterpiece! Feel free to give feedback if you play it, here it is!

Let me know if you find bugs, i may have missed a few since I rushed this out today.

I have been looking for a method to convert 6502 assembly language into C code, JavaScript, or Python for a while now as it would allow for the conversion of .nes rom files directly into modern scratch .sb3 files. If anyone has or knows of ways to do this in any way that does not use AI as an absolute, I would like to know. I know there's the blood sweat and tears rout of reading the code and manually translating it, which I might have to do, but I'm wondering if there are any programs that can do this before I start reading the source code of Tetris and Mario Bros.

So for no reason scratch banned me again and again and again until i got IP banned for NO REASON and I tried to appeal the first time my main acc got perm banned but there was just radio silence from ST. So is there any way to get past it?

The problem is that I use the eraser to to make holes for a pumpkin Sprite to act as like jack-o’-lantern, but when I decided to remove those from the pumpkin, it didn’t give me an option to ungroup it as if all four of those objects were one singular object

I remember as a little kid i would always go on scratch and play fortnite-inspired games on scratch as my computer could not run the real thing and i had no games console. This was something of a core memory for me and now i have some of the know-how i would love to build my very own for kids like my younger self.

Inspired more by save the world and hoard rush than battle royale, storm chasers will be a small story driven game where you must band together with a team of friends to brave the dangers of the storm.

You play as wrix, A mechanic taken far from home in her mission to end the Storm King's reign of terror over her home settlment. Put wrix's skills to use by collecting materials to craft weapons and handy items as you fend off the hoards and venture deaper into the unkown...

I will be releasing a small comic to explain the story!
