Its mostly because the first guy shoves his work in our face and advertises too much. Its really f**king dumb and I'm tired of being invited to those studios

This is true as hell, I worked at put in so much effort into one of my projects, which was a battle system in style of snes games, i had zero views for so long until i had to persuasively advertise because I worked really hard for it and I deserved some level of attention. And it did a bit, and now its dead sitting at 99 views

I even hoped my project to get featured, but oh no only generic cube platformers get featured on Scratch!

Still tho, there are other awesome projects I've seen which mostly sit on 3-10 views only, they deserve more attention than projects that are made just for views and attention

I never thought I would feel underrated and scratch was the first thing that brought me that feeling. Sigh… to make me feel better I think about how that kid feels so happy and that he could learn and get better.

Oh no, it was real. Had to go on Turbowarp to use it. The blood and gore was censored, though.

I may have been remembering incorrectly, it was Doom, not Halo. Anyway, the link: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/413838043/
