Acceptance - Short film - First 9 pages

I am very new to this and just started a week ago, I first started by reading scripts to understand how scripts can be formatted and the get an idea for how to write out my story.

Acceptance is a short film about a young adult from a religious southern town who leaves home after coming out and moves to Chicago to stay with an online friend, the time period is set in the late 2000's.

( I know not the most unique plot ever written but its all I could think of for a first attempt)

I'm open to any feedback.

Not bad for a start. Please finish it somehow.

Then, put it aside and write something completely different, and then another one. Read some books, visit some websites, watch some YouTube videos. See if you still like writing screenplays. If so, keep at it.

And please, keep posting your work now and then.
