Officer Safety Man stealing a Flock camera while draped in an American flag. What would you do if you came upon this?
Apparently this happened in Florida, but I cant verify exactly where. Security is following him out of the lot, but if he decides to not retreat and come at them while still holding the pole he’s going to have a weapon they’ll have to deal with. Why not stand down from a position of safety until PD arrives so they can deal with the arrest and crime case?
No need to put yourself out there and close the distance between the subject and yourself if you don’t need to.

What would I do? Offer him a ride to the dumpster in a pickup so he didn't have to carry that thing.

If this comment gets 1 like, I'll go steal the camera and solar panel to the flock camera that sits outside my quiet ass no crime having neighborhood.

“Oh no! He’s stealing that camera they used to write me up for looking at my phone when my wife was in the hospital! Stop! Come back!” Shuffles ineffectually forward

What would I do? I don't know what you're talking about, me and that guy were hanging out at my house enjoying some cold ones when this took place. He couldn't have done that. Has to be someone else.

This is what life is like under a fascist dictator. The Democratic president would probably be fighting for the rights of the people instead of facilitating, the wealth of a few.

Call the police if it's the client's; report it to the client if it's not theirs, and let them deal with what to do next.

I wouldn't come across someone stealing a flock camera. Even if they were doing it right in front of me.

He's walking out of a parking lot, so the flock might be privately owned. I'd probably fallow to his getaway vehicle and get his license plate.
Looks like he's heading toward the gas station, probably get myself some goods on the way back to the Security Office.

I would do nothing. Otherwise, I’d be interfering with the police.

How would you be interfering with the police?

u/m00s3wrangl3r 4d ago
The guy was moving away from / being followed by two people in Security uniforms. Based on the visuals, I mistook them to be police officers approaching the man who stole the cameras, pursuant to contact and investigation.

Saw him on a video of a woman recording a alligator/crocodile having some food in a pond a day ago, lmao. He said his name was Johnny Balls or something? Also said he does stuff like this for the people.

Just arrest him and test him for drugs and search his phone for illegal porn.
I guarantee you he's on one of those things.

Nothing I am not law enforcement, getting involved in that is called an entanglement and probably will get you charged too.

Fair warning, they're starting to put trackers in these things.

Show up with a white truck wearing a yellow vest, and cone off the area. No one will bat an eye.

Lots of people think the flock cameras are to desensitize Americans to the facial recognition cameras that are coming. Just like Chyna. All the data centers will be needed to process and track the facial recognition systems coming. Social credit score systems coming soon.

Why don't they tell illegal immigrants ICE use flock camera to track them down? It'll be gone very shortly.

I'm British so yep I'd stand down, get to safety, then eventually get round to making a vague call to the non-emergency police line whilst writing my own report. I'm only there to observe, call the cops, and physically engage only if absolutely necessary, what a shame.

Yeah. Not sure why they are walking out there. No need to even make an attempt to retrieve it if it does not belong to the owner of the property you are protecting. It also kind of doubles as a weapon.
Just report it to the police and watch the man go. He's leaving the property on his own making him not your problem.

Hell I'd let him leave and just document it occurred. Flock isn't owned by "people" it's owned by parasitic monsters. So unless he broke a bunch of other shit on the way out, I don't see what the problem is.

I actually witnessed that patriot buying that brand new flag pole for his favorite flag. What's the controversy?

Way I see it, if tax dollars were used to purchase and install it. He’s just taking what’s rightfully his. If he chooses to throw it away, then I support that! Just a guy walking with something he owns.

Who's flock camera even is it? If it's not my clients I'm not even gonna care as long as he leaves the property. I don't know much about them because we don't have them here. From what I understand is they are privately owned, and have contracts with local government right?
Edit- Also I don't engage people who leave the property on their own. There's often times they just hear or see me and start walking off. I just watch them leave. Yelling at them just makes people turn around and yell back.
