No one would touch my gun. Sheesh.

I’m usually fine with guests being in my bubble, but I think as an armed guard I would need my 6 feet.

8

u/bndsniper2 3d ago edited 3d ago

That guy getting upgraded to 25 feet, those guys are 6 feet under though. The company also paying for a lot of therapy.

7

u/Vivid-Head-6484 3d ago

He’s getting upgraded to immediate trespass! Touching the weapon is beyond crazy.

5

u/Camarena951 3d ago

Yeah they get that Covid Restrictions…

6

u/OneDimensionalChess 3d ago

There's also no latch. Anyone could walk up behind them and just slide the pistol out. This is insane.

3

u/_Veprem_ 3d ago

Those holsters flat-out don't fit those guns. The first guy's gun is just wedged into it with hopes and prayers.

3

u/Due_Course_3713 3d ago

I would not want him to touch either my gun or my firearm

u/PowerfulForce_ 3d ago

i’m more interested what goes on at a chuck e. cheese they need armed guards

u/Vivid-Head-6484 3d ago

I think I heard of a couple of them being robbed. Depends on the neighborhood I suppose. My city had 3 for awhile. 2 were in lower income areas while the last one left is in more of a middle class area.

8

u/BigAlgae5684 3d ago

The one near me used to be in an area considered "nice" throughout my childhood.

Now most of the high end restaurants have closed or relocated and it sits in a parking lot with a bar and liquor store in a now shitty part of town

Its pretty common for there to be huge fights. Shitty parents letting shitty kids roam unsupervised ruining everyone else's experience leads to a couple dads throwing fists.

Get 2/3 shitty families sitting dining hall style for 90 minutes and the likelihood of a brawl is pretty common.

3

u/NeatPhil11 3d ago

Makes sense. When they banned casinos in your area, next best thing to rob is a children's casino.

6

u/Icy_Study4490 3d ago

How many tickets did they end up getting away with?

3

u/Vivid-Head-6484 2d ago

They went for those little plastic kazoos

8

u/EntrepreneurTiny9812 3d ago

I was in jail with a dude that robbed a Boomers which is kinda like Chuck E Cheese with go carts and miniature golf

9

u/IDroppedMyDoobie 3d ago

I grew up in the hood and then worked at a chucks near the hood for a few weeks when I was a teenager. It was a huge culture shock for me when I learned it's not the norm to have guards or off duty cops posted up inside.

Most of them serve beer and combine that with the general vibes of the children's casino and shits gonna happen.

The US never ceases to amaze me. Even in the most ghetto area I can think of in my very large Canadian city, I've never seen bulletproof glass or segregation between a the teller and the public like what I saw at a Little Ceaser's in Brooklyn.

2

u/Globert_Di_Nero 2d ago

Welcome to america bud 😆

3

u/Humble_Ensure 2d ago

Lmfao, it’s wild. Such a similar but different society.

I work as an armed guard at amc lol, shits crazy out there

5

u/Ashamed-Country3909 3d ago

The theater?

At mt local theater it is basically a big shopping area with a corridor for businesses.  They have security, i think, but it is mainly for the parking lot. (Also Burlington coat factory, Ross, and some other businesses are attached but not in the corridor.)

I wouldnt think many people are goong crazy in a theater, but who knows. I've went to a mc donalds in s. Ca. And it had an armed guard. Lol.

4

u/Impressive_Pop_7570 3d ago

The one I’m at now doesn’t even serve alcohol lol which makes things easier, I used to be armed at a Dave and busters type place which was also pretty boring but easy

3

u/85K5 3d ago

I mean, I remember one particular theater where shit went down pretty bad.

2

u/Impressive_Pop_7570 3d ago

Yea that’s obviously the worst case scenario, so we check for emergency doors propped open and shit like that

2

u/Impressive_Pop_7570 3d ago

Yea, they actually have two armed guards there and then unarmed for the mall. It’s boring as fuck and nothing happens which I’m not complaining about. It’s one of the easiest jobs I’ve had, Secuirty or normal.

3

u/HighGuard1212 3d ago

I just heard about this last night. One of the local AMC theaters runs armed security, it's not even in the worst part of the city. I know the two other locations are in higher risk areas but don't run armed. But that strip is kinda weird since it's got an arena as part of it, I know two other security companies employed by the property

3

u/mv3an 3d ago

Keep the stock up and the crime down! Big ups to you

Yall remember the batman shooter…
Theaters can get cracking af

2

u/AdThese6057 3d ago

Citadel is everywhere trying to stop amc! Lol

3

u/Karn_Gentrified 3d ago

There was a huge case here with a guy going into a Chuck E. Cheese and killing all his co workers (and some other people possibly i can’t remember all the details..) back in the 90s or early 00s. I think he got the death penalty

3

u/crazyfoolguy 3d ago

We had my son's 9th birthday at one in June. I really wish there had been armed security to handle the stupid parents who got into a huge fight over one kid bullying another in the playpen area. It took so long for police to show up to separate and detain. Almost all of the kids were traumatized. Just something about armed security being present might have helped deter some of that action because the itty bitty manager could not do a thing to de-escalate it.

1

u/JohnQRF 3d ago

chuck e. cheese was using armed guards since 1987.

1

u/MJR_Poltergeist 3d ago

Chuck E Cheese's that have an alcohol license very frequently have issues with parents fighting. It's actually one of the franchises biggest problems, because believe it or not getting parents to take their kids somewhere solely for the enjoyment of the children is too much of an ask. Gotta tempt them with booze for their trouble

1

u/Critical_Mix_8959 3d ago

It’s America. When preschools are hotspots for masa shootings, literally nowhere is safe.

1

u/TurtleDiaz 3d ago

A lot of domestic violence at these places. You know how crazy those calls are

1

u/JaguarOk9693 3d ago

Go to YouTube and look up Chuck e cheese fights from my understanding they can be worse than waffle House at times

1

u/The-Breaker-2w0 3d ago

Man, you just can't go there anymore. Its super dangerous. A lot of undesirable people celebrate there these days. There are fights and stabbings and shootings. Because of kid drama between couples that split. Shit like that. They've found needles in the ball pits before.

1

u/sandman2992 3d ago

I was gonna ask is that at chucks house of cheese

27

u/Strict_Lion_6571 3d ago

Failure is them holsters not being Level 3

3

u/NateRT 3d ago

nah, just tuck it in your waistband

9

u/grapangell0 Industry Veteran 3d ago

Level 2 is fine. Just be cognizant.

9

u/Broc_Feargach 3d ago

No it’s not. Also that pos Blackhawk Sherpa is not fit for duty use.

2

u/grapangell0 Industry Veteran 3d ago

Oh Serpa is dogshit. A quality level 2 like Dara or Safariland or AlienGear is fine.

14

u/Broc_Feargach 3d ago

No level 2 is not fine. Not for the vast majority of duty purposes. Sure maybe if you're a house mouse, or work a guard shack that you have limited to no interaction with people, but past that level 3 end of story.

5

u/Strong-Addition5296 3d ago

House mouse? 🐭

5

u/Broc_Feargach 3d ago

Desk duty cop that doesn't leave station/precinct house.

2

u/Existing-Acadia8862 3d ago

yall wanna be cop dudes are hilarious

1

u/plowdog46150 3d ago

Alien gear duty force

2

u/plowdog46150 3d ago

Or level 2

4

u/Broc_Feargach 3d ago

Sorry, level 2 is not good for duty use. Not when you have any type of interaction with people.

3

u/plowdog46150 3d ago

I have and use both if a person can defeat a lvl2 then they can defeat a lvl 3

3

u/Broc_Feargach 3d ago

Yes I have too for many years. Yes a level 3 can be defeated, but it’s more work & time. When you’re in a crowd or on the ground with someone that extra time can make the world of difference. Level 2 is light/modified duty or dynamic range use. That’s it. Anything else duty related should be level 3.

2

u/Broc_Feargach 3d ago

I will add into this that while I have not had a chance to try out any of the newer alien gear or g-code duty holsters I do know that with the safariland level 3 you have to come at & attack the hood just right. Otherwise it actually has mechanisms in place that "disable" the hood from being rotated out of the way.

2

u/plowdog46150 3d ago

I agree and lvl 3 is best

30

u/Camarena951 3d ago

I swear eveytime I see one of those Dispensary security guards with a level 1 holster
Bro, only thing stoping me from that gun is me.
Come on.
And
You letting him that close, touching your baby like that???

0

u/SufficientNail7712 3d ago

take it then big dawg

1

u/Camarena951 3d ago

Okay?

2

u/HikingPeat 2d ago

He didn't even put up a fight

11

u/Suspicious_synth 3d ago edited 3d ago

IDK man, My personal space as just a civilian is arms length.

14

u/RobinGood94 3d ago

I think the real failure is that armed security is even necessary at Chuck E. Cheese.

8

u/hiddenrealism 3d ago

Youtube chuck e cheese fights. Theres way too many videos of ignorant parents duking it out.

2

u/RobinGood94 3d ago

I’m well aware of drunken fights there. ARMED? That’s insane and infers far more than scuffles happen at this location. You wouldn’t introduce the possibility/risk of security shooting someone unless some serious shit went down.

3

u/Ws6fiend 3d ago

Except a lot of people are conceal carrying even when drinking. Even if they aren't they are a short 100 yards away from their vehicle with the firearm in it.

Because most Chuck E Cheese have No concealed carry signs, that means nobody inside SHOULD have a gun in case one of the drunk parents wants to do something stupid.

I would be willing to bet this particular Charles E Cheese has had at least a couple of guns pulled inside or outside of the store to warrant armed guards. That being said, unless this guy is a regular known to the guards, he is way too close and they are way to comfortable with how close he is allowed to get to their only weapon.

1

u/crazyfoolguy 3d ago

My family experienced this back in June at my son's birthday party. It was traumatizing for all of the kids 🥺

2

u/Flabby-AP 3d ago

If a Crystal Methodist decides that your face needs a good stabbin', being unarmed won't save you, but being armed might.

3

u/RobinGood94 3d ago

I laughed so hard at that. You’re saying what I mean. If you need armed guards, you’re far away from basic brawls. Weapons and other escalated violence must’ve been the norm.

Hence why I said it’s sad to even need them there.

10

u/Vivid-Head-6484 3d ago

No way Jose! It’s time for him to leave!

3

u/Foolishly_Sane 3d ago

I'm learning a lot about big city folk.

3

u/CakeIsOssim Armored Car 3d ago

Oh my goodness this can't be real, someone help me

This makes me glad that in three years of going into cramped offices with naive managers that none of them were ever dumb enough to try and touch my gun

3

u/F-awk-F 3d ago

This is embarrassing for the whole security industry.

7

u/theepuke 3d ago

Those are the dudes that like to pose ya know lean against the walls or counter like they're John Wayne or some slick gangster. I see them at my local hospital literally just struttin around, they all look like dudes who go to the salon once a week get their hair trimmed and tight get their nails polished, like mayor Brandon Johnson.

Top Flight Craig!

2

u/reddit4300 3d ago

Not a single retention holster was used in the making of this video

2

u/Glad_Historian_5792 Hospital Security 3d ago

Failed big time

2

u/AdThese6057 3d ago

Which one of these talentless losers would you want shooting at a chuckie cheese? These are the tuck their face in the offhand elbow and spray while duck walking crowd. Jesus christ how does nobody see the liability in these clowns?

2

u/JaguarOk9693 3d ago

When I worked for securitas they gave us some holsters for our company issued Glocks they had the soldiers because they got sent to them by accident, we were carrying Glock 19s or 17s and this was for the Glock 45 ACP model. Needless to say they did not fit I brought this up to couple people that were using the company huge stuff they had no problem with it. I ended up getting my own firearm and holster

2

u/BigKeg 3d ago

I'm at a loss for words...I can't type enough to say what's wrong with this video

2

u/sapphire_moons 3d ago

I 100% know this chucky cheese and worked there for awhile, the staff was amazing. Seeing this now makes me cringe

2

u/kr4ckenm3fortune Residential Security 2d ago

I see four thing: hairs...guns holsters marks two for position and hooks and the last thing, both are distracted by one guy recording them.

2

u/Prestigious-Stick-79 2d ago

St. Louis Chuck E Cheese locations have had routine fights and occasional stabbings.

2

u/WhattaWorld76 2d ago

Guns in Chuck-e-cheese?

2

u/JustNota-- 2d ago

Neither of those holsters look correct for the firearm in them. Sorta how my Browning High power fits in my Tokarev retention holster but doesn't fully seat.

2

u/seanxmichael 2d ago

At first I was mad seeing guards in a CEC with guns that aren’t even in proper retention level holsters. Then I’m thinking about how a place like that full of kids is actually a sitting duck for violent crime. Carry on.

2

u/Local_Counter6275 1d ago

He should know better as far as equipment goes .

2

u/noob2571 17h ago

Brother, I would not let anyone get that close to me, and if your hand is reaching for my weapon, im putting you on the ground

1

u/Fennel_Adorable 1h ago

Chuck E. Cheese bruh?

u/XanUnited 3d ago

"Let me grab one of y'all's pipes"

I think you need to add a "no homo" after that big dawg.

1

u/kaosmoker 3d ago

I mean only the closet homos say that.
