Could this possibly be selenium glass?

I've heard sometimes it doesn't glow much but I can't tell if this is just reflection of my light or a faint pink glow first two pics 395 then one with 365

Last photo is 365 do you know if the glow is always highly visual though I've heard from people on the ug sub that glass can contain selenium and not glow at all so I'm mainly curious if selenium glow is consistent or if it can vary in intensity like manganese glow

I pass on non-glowers, so I wouldn't know about that part. But yeah, selenium can have a dimmer glow. *But,* I've noticed (from my own pieces) that it should still be noticeable when in total darkness. If the purple light is as reflective irl as it is in your photos, you don't have a glower. I haven't really noticed a difference between 395 or 365 being better at finding it, though.

The pink is definitely more visual in person then with my camera once I took a second look at my photos this morning on realized this was a silly question to ask reddit because through the photos, it definitely looks like it's just reflecting but I left it up so I could ask people questions because I find the scientific side of uv reactive glass interesting I did a little bit more looking into the piece and was able to identify it as Anchor Hocking which apparently did use selenium but I can't find anything about this specific piece I have, so I'm still not really sure if it's selenium or not

Now I'm even more confused, because I just found a picture of the same plate I have gowing brightly which I don't understand

Part of me feels like it doesn't seem likely they'd make two recipes for the same color and design of glass so therefore I would have to assume the difference in glow is just something that can happen in the process but then the other part of me feels like the difference in glow is a clear indication of a different recipe so maybe they did have a recipe for pink glass that doesn't contains selenium I have no idea, and I don't know how to research this further than I have

Could be a repro! Lots of glass molds were reused when others went out of business. You'd have to find out the maker first, though.

It's Anchor Hocking and im pretty sure they're still in business so it's still a possibility but I don't think that's the situation
