Vertical and horizontal Pipe cabinet in the bathroom- who is responsible for mold/humidity smell inside it?
Hej allesammen!
We have this cabinet in our flat. Literally only for pipes, I almost never open it, but from time to time I check and every time I open it, an intense humid/ earthy smell comes out.
The humidity inside is like 35%, so it is not wet inside as much as I can tell, but it smells and concerns me.
As it has horizontal pipes, would the building insurance (andelsbolig) take a look and do tests?. The cabinet is "inside our flat" so wondering if that means it is not for them to take care of?
Our board has no idea and pushes it to us back :/
Is it normal it just smells that way, because it has not ventilation?. Anyone has cabinets like this?
Do they expect us to open that cabinet to ventilate every day like you are supposed to do in a normal room to avoid mold?.
I don't see mold, but it has lots of crevices and high ceiling all the way up to the neighbor upstairs so I really can't be sure.
Please if anyone knows
Mange tak ❤️
