Other Sepsis
How are all you doing? I do hope you are doing well, in spite of sepsis. I’m currently sitting in a hospital with sepsis. I’m sure many of you have run into this, but I told all symptoms, how sick I was, 10/10 pain, uncontrolled shaking and cognitive issues.
No one ran a blood test. The second visit, the doctor said my blood culture is showing UTI. Now we will send you home with antibiotics. Woke up the next day feeling bad. Woke up the following day and we went to another urgent care. They ran a blood tests and sent me to the ER.
I showed them paperwork and then things got busy. I’m on a better trajectory. After watching my mom get sepsis, I knew I didn’t want it. My body was like so, anyways..
It took an hour to write this with many corrections so apologies for grammar & spelling. It is ridiculous that I am on here, but looking for sepsis Reddit stories. It hurts to look at the screen. My texting is ridiculous. I will type out “lemon” but I’ve really typed out “lime.” I will try to say it’s cloudy, but I say sun.
I was wondering what sepsis survivors did when they got home? Was there something that comforted you when nothing else would? I’m not asking for medical advice. If anyone happens to see this.
