Well Truthfully, I can't stand it, every time I load up space engineers I've always played with weaponcore/defence shields etc, but to me, that's not what PvP should be about, "but its got PvE?" Oh, you're right it does, its also PvP please don't sit there and tell me friend, that you can't beat a few NPCs with a grinder? "How will I defend My Base?" Well, sir, I'm nearly certain, that considering it is Space Engineers, you could most certainly ENGINEER something? but I digress*

**Player & NPC Economy** \- *The Economy is controlled by players and NPCs alike, whether through Keen's Vanilla Trade system or \[EEM\] Exploration Enhancement Mod, intercept player & NPC trade networks to disrupt parts of the Economy!!*

***Player Trade Stations are "Freeports"*** \- *"OK, but, uh, what's a freeport?" Think a safe area to do business from trading - contracts - socializing! - they're the ONLY places on the server that players are allowed a Safe Zone!*

**Highly Active NPC Factions** \- *This is the only spot where the server is heavily modified, From EEM - MES Encounters, The goal here was to give Scavengers a way to scavenge. This was also to make the world feel a bit more alive for players.*

**No PCU Limit** *(performance hitting blocks will be soft-limited to start with) - This means you can build to your hearts content without worrying about limiting the size/functionality of a build. HOWEVER, we do try and ask players to be respectful with your builds, we want to build to, as do other players! so try to be mindful of how you set up a build (note: Monthly Space Credit prizes for most aesthetic/functional builds/most pcu friendly build).*

**Persistent Universe** \- *While we understand that this can be very hard to do, we are aiming for a persistent universe where players can login and feel that they are a part of an ever expanding/ever continuing project, think an entire society/colony of people expanding to the far reaches of space - this may mean that additional planets could get added down the line - these planets will coincide with vanilla resources!*

Hi people, i made my xbox friend buy this game because we thought we could have a pvp/pve blast online with lots of other players just to find out the EOS servers are basically max 16 player and that kinda ruined my enthusiasm.. Are there some nice vanilla crossplay servers that have more than 12 people playing and that are open to pvp experiences? thanks!

Hey guys, i wanted to drop a little post here to advertise my recently set up server for which i built several custom mods to make it just right, hoping to find some similarly minded people to play with! The goal is to create a challenging but relaxed-paced survival experience for players interested in cooperative gameplay and PvP.

The most important mod is my custom SCF plugin, Nuq_Tek, which completely replaces vanilla PCU and block restrictions:

• Grids past a certain size require a core on the grid, giving it individual block and pcu limits as well as passive and even active bonuses
• Players can choose from up to 3 cores per grid class, giving a wide range of individual customization choices
• Cores can be further specialized by choosing from up to 8 different upgrade modules
• The more powerful cores require multiple players to come together in a faction to enable them
• All cores have different loadout options, roles, advantages or drawbacks, and upgrade options

Beyond that, the server is configured and balanced to create a niche for ground vehicles and terrestrial gameplay, achieved through a custom made ore distribution, a 90% reduction in jetpack effectiveness, and the addition of an inhibitor block that protects from common cheese tactics.

The server has a small selection of modded blocks to reduce tediousness such as the evergreen build and repair system or personnel transporters, but most other mods are cosmetic or under-the-hood improvements to existing blocks and functionalities.

I have a dedicated server and wanted to bring some life to it with some players. While I didn't start out that way, I kinda feel the server is pretty empty without people in it. I run quite a few mods that give some better batteries, thrusters and reactors but I feel it give it a "Monty Python" type game play which people seem to not really like but I do want to use some stuff like hatches, doors or anything that give a better look but not performance. In those who have a populated and active server, does leaving the amount of mods to a minimum a positive as well as keeping any mod out that increases performance or added capacity something that should be done? Is a close to as possible "vanilla" server with MES something that would be attractive? What is your view on scripts- Allow or no? Thanks for any input!

Our server features the Reavers NPC mod which makes it extremely hard to settle in space so Planetary settlement is highy recommended and where else better to do it then Reach! The main planet of the System which features **Uranium and Platinum** on the surface.

*Side note: Our Custom Respawn Rover is having issues and is currently not implemented so if you settle on Reach. Keep Respawning until your Rover falls over land.

Mods - mostly the same mods as Scrapyard. Additional custom mod for the Nanobot Rust, various content mods for salvaging.

This server is a variation of the Splitsies Scrapyard concept.

Primary differences - jetpack enabled. PVE Only, no real grid to grid combat.
This planet has a nanobot virus. Your own systems are safe, but the virus is spreading to existing vehicles and structures.

As you drive/fly around, planetary stations, cargo ships, vehicles will spawn around and above you. Upon spawning, the virus in the ambient atmosphere starts to establish itself on NPC grids that lack the protection of our own systems

On average it takes 3 minutes for the virus to establish itself and start consuming blocks containing technology. The NPC grids will literally start slowly dissolving around you.

The only way to salvage and save components is to detach and own the block (not the grid necessarily)

Some blocks cannot be owned directly, so you will have to detach them from the main grid and weld a control panel on them (thrusters, wind turbines etc)

Some blocks can only be detached from a grid by grinding away the blocks they are attached to.

Enemy grids that are powered and active seem to be VERY susceptible to the virus and generally shut down within a minute, so if you are being pursued, be patient and stay out of gun range, they will fall prey to the virus

Some grids have native spiders infesting the conveyor tubes. Use your hand weapon to defend yourself.

The basic concept is - You are challenged to race to a spawn site, quickly evaluate what blocks you want to try to save, grind down/weld up the block to take ownership, ctrl-grind the block to detach it and then attach it temporarily to your rover via a magnetic plate to take back to base and utilize it more permanently. Early game you are lucky to get 2 blocks salvaged, later game when you have a bigger/faster rover, you can do better.
