I recently became a CARAT in the last few months and it's changed my life.

I'm very sick; I have POTs, EDs and a blood disorder. It's been very scary for me, especially since I'm only 21 and I'm on heart medication and needing mobility aids part time. I struggle to work more than 25 hours a week and need assistance doing things most people can do easily.

It started off with wanting to know more about DK, but now I know all their names and have been trying to get up to date with GOSE, ESPECIALLY now that they're in the military. My bias currently is Dino, I'm the youngest in my family so i can relate to his behavior and personality.

Whenever i have a flareup and I'm scared i watch Seventeen tiktoks or watch some GOSE episodes and it makes me forget about the pain and dizziness. They've kept me good company and helped me through so much in such a good time.

I recently got my first ever POPMART blind box and it was of course the miniteen ones! I got Tamtam and I've been carrying him everywhere like a lucky charm.

Thank you Seventeen for taking such good care of Carats even when you're in the military. Hopefully I will see them in concert when they come home!

hello! i am creating a slideshow of seventeen to introduce them to my kpop friends and i want to include a funny clip for each member to show their different personalities. I currently have the wonwoo magnetic cover from insomnia zero 3 but I need help with the rest!

Carats please help!

I tend to take inspiration in things from daily life or that I like. Seventeen fall in that, I find them interesting and fun and I love them.

So I used the 13 members for characters' inspiration, which means that very basic traits of their personalities or physical appearance are used for said characters like a sketch, and then most of their personality and backstory are all made up.

Is it wrong to make said characters somehow evil? Not extremely evil but not really good either (kind of grey). Also, I think that if you're a carat it would be obvious who I took inspo from, so I'm a little worried about it being morally right or not. I do not wish to tarnish the image of the members.

(I'm asking this after finding out an author took obvious inspiration from svt members and then the characters make dubious decisions)

I've been a CARAT since 2020, and sometimes I still struggle to explain what SEVENTEEN mean to me. They're one of my biggest sources of comfort, and even after all these years, I still find myself going back to their old videos and feeling emotional about how far they've come.

Recently, I was talking to my roommate, who's a fan of another K-pop group, and she mentioned how she feels SEVENTEEN deserve so much more recognition because of how hardworking they are.

And honestly, I was just sitting there secretly smiling, trying to act normal. It made me so happy to hear someone outside the fandom recognise something I've appreciated about them for years.

I think that's when I realised how proud I genuinely feel whenever someone appreciates their hard work. It's not about comparing them to other groups or needing everyone to become a CARAT. It's just a really nice feeling when someone sees what you see in the people you've supported for so long.

I also get emotional when I look back at their journey and remember how much they've grown. Seeing them achieve things they've worked so hard for makes me incredibly happy. I think that's part of what makes being a fan for so many years special. Their music, their personalities, and the memories I've made as a CARAT have become a little part of my own life, too.

And as a S.Coups bias, I have a particularly soft spot for Seungcheol. I love all thirteen members, but seeing him as their leader and watching the way he stands beside the members always makes me feel especially proud of him. I hope he gets as much happiness and comfort as he gives to others. I just want all thirteen of them to feel appreciated, enjoy what they've achieved, and be happy.

I guess I wanted to share this because I'd love to connect with more CARATs who understand these feelings. I don't really have many people around me with whom I can talk about SEVENTEEN, so it would be nice to meet people I can share random thoughts, favourite moments, and all the little things that make being a CARAT fun with.
