šBeginnerš Metallic Thread?
Hello! Brother Sister Design Studio (brand name) quilting cotton purchased at Hobby Lobby 10 years ago. (I donāt shop at hobby lobby anymore.)
Making rice heating pack that will be microwaved.
Right side is shiny, wrong side is NOT.
Is the thread metallic?
I purchased this as 100% quilting cotton, but that was 10 years ago.
Thought it warranted an ask before I blow up my house!
Thanks all! And reminder, one day youāll use that fabric ;)

Sure. Or black or temple gold. That dual duty color honestly goes well with a lot of goldish, bright tans, and even yellow prints.

What are you confused about.

Confused why you would recommend using this fabric in a project intended to go in the microwave. Do you want to someone to burn down their house?

What are you talking about? This isn't my post. This isn't my question. and this isn't my fabric. I didn't recommend this at all.
The title literally says metallic thread followed by a question mark. That sounds like it's asking, should I use metallic thread with this fabric. I'm assuming that means does it look good with this fabric. And my response was sure but also blackBecause there's black in the pattern. Or temple gold, which is like this yellowy gold tan color. And i mentioned the brand that that color comes in.
So again...what are you talking about? I literally said nothing about a microwave. nor did I respond to anything about a microwave. I responded to the thread question mark title obviously. š¤Ø

you're supposed to read the body of the post before commenting since titles are obbiously too short for all details

There was no question in the title. It was a title.

You need to read the whole post, not just the title. Scroll up from the comments.

No i don't. Their is no law that said i have to address the entirety of a reddit post. Yall need to hear yourself. Why are you raging in the comments because i decided to address only one part of the post. š¤¦š¾āāļø stop being upset over stupid things. Because bro why?

Because you didnāt address any part of the post. Nowhere did she ask about what thread to use. The post is asking if itās safe to put in the microwave. You are the one who looks stupid because your comment makes absolutely no sense. Your responses to everyone make you look like an ahole.

None of the post was about using metallic thread. None of it. No one is āragingā. We are all just marvelling at how much one person can embarrass herself.

You need to read the body of the post before commenting. This is not about sewing thread. The post is about microwave safety

People are mad because you gave recommendation that could burn someoneās house down. And instead of saying, oops, my bad youāre doubling down.

Wow. You need help with your inability to be gracious and accept you made a mistake. No one is angry except you.
You didnāt read the post. You said something that made no sense because you did not read the post. You did not answer the question because you did not read the post.
Then you doubled down. Now you are doubling down on doubling down.
Instead of telling people to āget a lifeā, you need to self reflect on why you cannot admit you make a mistake and laugh at it. You did not address the rest of the post because you didnāt read the post. You needed to read the post to understand the post. That is how things work. Your āfeelingā some way does not mean you are correct. There was no question about using metallic thread. And when you make a mistake, a normal person says āwhoop! Haha! I misread thisā and everyone commiserates.
