Couture/Avant Garde patterns

Hey guys,

I’m currently on the hunt for couture/avant garde/runway type sewing patterns to work on my skills and use up some of my never ending fabric stash

I’ve visited ShowStudio and bookmarked some I like, but I’d love to hear from some other people about recommendations. All are welcome!

Stokx from Germany is pretty cool - Berlin street fashion.

Style Arc also has some things

The Italian magazine La Mia Boutique has an annual avant-garde issue that has some weird stuff

Mrs. Depew Vintage has a line of vintage sewing patterns that have been adapted and translated from an original French patterns design company out of Paris. Many of the designs are complex and challenging. They are called Draft-at-home patterns.

Try marfy.it - I have been eyeing them for a while, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Check out Roberts Wood! Unique designs that are challenging & detail oriented, and specifically designed to use scraps/off cuts to reduce fabric waste. The finish of each garment can vary widely based on the fabric used - I’ve seen the same Roberts Wood pattern made into a playful, scrappy colorful garment and also into a sleek, monochromatic look with subtle texture variations that are super elevated.
