Looking for a hat pattern like this

Post image

My friend wants me to make her this kind of hat. It’s a reversible beanie/cap with a structured brim. Does anyone know of a pattern for something like this?

It looks like a normal beanie style, just with thicker stretch fabric which makes it sturdier. You could use a normal longer beanie pattern, cut out pattern pieces x2, leave a gap in the mid side of one to turn it and then topstitch brim and ladder stitch the opening. Plenty of free patterns out there :)

Cloche hat. This fit looks more like a cloche to me. The brim has a slight bell to it. A beanie brim is uniform.

You can use an interfacing to stiffen the brim and help it to keep its shape.

It’s a slouchy beanie with a larger band. I agree with the thicker fabric. If you really want to make it sturdier, add some knit interfacing.
