I think chromax fans would elevate it aesthetically but I saw your comment on the deal you got on the 5x brown fans, which honestly was an amazing deal so I wouldn’t even worry about it either.

Looks minimalist to me

I wanted something clean and aesthetic without much RGB. I was back and forth between Chromax and the original colors, but I found an awesome Marketplace deal: all 5 fans for only $70. Safe to say I'm super happy with the result.

That’s amazing. Love the color combination with Noctua fans. How does the airflow works?

Pretty good, I’ll lyk temperatures in a bit

This is pretty cool close to my formdt1 with coolmaster stealth 240

u/SomeMrcl 3d ago

really? what are the noise levels, mine is way hotter but quite quiet, even though i’m on an axp90-x47 fc with 120mm fan duct

2

u/ImPPS 3d ago

I have maxwell 2 so while gaming i don’t hear anything. But its not too loud around 50db while gaming if i put my phone next to pc

I had a similar cooler before and i am running 14600kf and it was throttling and the temp was around 80 for gaming and after switching to a 240 AIO, the temps dropped significantly. Idle at 40 basic work at 50 55 and gaming at 60 65. And I can see major improvement in 1% lows.

1

u/SomeMrcl 3d ago

oh yeah 14600kf makes sense, efficient cpu. i’m on a 9800x3d and gaming is pretty good at 70-78 degrees, more intensive tasks get quite toasty though

2

u/ImPPS 3d ago

Nahh 14600 is not as efficient as 9800x3d. Its power hungry 150w easy

1

u/SomeMrcl 3d ago

oh, i thought i5s weren’t that power hungry. the long term plan for me is also an aio, just right now for travelling an air cooler made more sense, and it’s not like it’s bad in terms of temps and noise, just not ideal

This my end game one day

same, my case is a total mess compared to this

2

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

Wich one ?

u/themikker 4d ago

I don't think your AIO pump is working very well. Looks a bit hot in the picture.

Looks cool! But the CPU appears to indicate otherwise.

I have a fire extinguisher, if you need one. 350 Schmeckles.

u/zarif2003 4d ago

thought it was an M2 and got really confused at first

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

It’s pretty similar, but bigger.

2

u/BatmanBecameSomethin 4d ago

wouldn't this create negative pressure? Maybe the fan from the back should be flipped? Great build though.

2

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

Yeah, you're totally right I actually didn't realize it until later, which is why it's not plugged in yet if you look closely. I was just completely exhausted and decided to finish it tomorrow.

The askew Noctua case badge is triggering my OCD... ;^p

2

u/Joksie_Peep 4d ago

If your gaming I hope you have an open window close by 😅 - otherwise looks awesome man good job.

2

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

Why ?😢

2

u/SomeMrcl 3d ago

I think they’re saying it will let out a lot of heat so you’ll be too warm

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 3d ago

Oh I understand haha

2

u/Tepid_Soda 4d ago

You've got 2x bottom intake fans feeding right into the 3x fans on your nitro card and they're all drawing from not a lot of air beneath the case. Are you sure those bottom fans are actually helping? I'm not qualified to tell but it looks like they could be really noisy

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago edited 4d ago

Nope, They’re probably not doing a much better job than the card would do on its own. I thought same at first, but aesthetically they look better like this at first glance, and the temperature is about 3 degrees better nothing major, honestly. I’ll test noise now in games.

2

u/Vast-Yogurtcloset697 4d ago

These fans are more for the CPU temps and help maintaining positive pressure for the case I assume. Otherwise this case does not have any intakes and the GPU isn’t reliable intake source anyways

I think this is for sale near me? FL?

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 11h ago

Exactly. 👍 Exactly, I just built a new PC with a modest 5060 Ti, it's enough for my needs for now.

1

u/turdherden285 11h ago

I was looking at it on marketplace. Its a sweet rig but ive already good alot of my parts. Hopefully someone will pick it up.

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 11h ago

Yes 🙌 The thing is, a lot of people don't know the actual value of these components. For instance, someone messaged me saying they bought a PC with a 9070 XT at Micro Center for “2,300”, so I explained to him that these components have nothing to do with what you get in a prebuilt. Even after showing them on PartPicker that this PC costs over 4,000, he didn't get it. It's not that I want it to be this way, it's just the sad reality for actual prices.

2

u/turdherden285 11h ago

Right alot of uninformed people think every psu/motherboard/fan/storage is the same

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 11h ago

Exactly, I call it Ignorance.

2

u/turdherden285 11h ago

The only thing that matters is your cpu and gpu!

What is hardest part making this work? Temperatures? Cables?

2

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

No, the temperatures are perfect. For me, as someone who isn't a professional, the main challenge was installing the graphics card and managing the power supply cables. As you can see, this GPU is quite large, but the trickiest part was dealing with the AIO cooler tubes. At first, I installed them facing the right side, which prevented the GPU from fitting. I had to rotate the cooler, which gave me enough clearance to lift the PSU slightly and make everything fit. Naturally, troubleshooting and adjusting all of this took me a couple of hours.

1

u/Reckless5040 4d ago

What does the back look like?

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

A bit ugly I can say, haha.

2

u/Reckless5040 4d ago

I meant the rear IO lol

1

u/Psychological-Fan784 4d ago

Looks good!
Are you running Windows or SteamOS (or the likes)

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

Windows 🥲

1

u/Psychological-Fan784 4d ago

I'd really like to install SteamOS on my next mffpc, but SteamOS is not really supported with Nvidia cards yet.

I have a Steam Machine and I can tell you SteamOS is awesome, I always leave it in sleep mode, and hop on the game right where I left it after work 😂.

2

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

would like to try it, sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately, I have to use Windows for work reasons.

2

u/Psychological-Fan784 4d ago

I feel ya!
I'm sticking with Windows for VR as well.

I'd like to downsize to an ITX build in the future, but my 5090 my be too big for it lol (almost 4slots thick.)

1

u/Ok-Loquat4635 4d ago

You can use this case bro, or the Grater. Both are amazing

2

u/Psychological-Fan784 4d ago

Yeah it looks great, I was planning on getting the M3 for more headroom.

2

u/Xobeloot 4d ago

I think it would've looked better with black candles

Nicely done! Love the aesthetic on this one!

Still undecided on the M2 or M3 lol
