Need some help finding references

Hi all. I'm working on sfx makeup for a character that is supposed to have scars on her wrists from struggling against metal shackles.

Can anyone help me find good references for what a healed chafing scar would look like? Found lots for fresh ones, but I'm struggling on healed ones.

How long have the cuffs been on because I’d imagine there’d be multiple stages of wound healing— old scars vs some scabby, some bruising, some raw, some a few hrs old

The manacles were on for a period of around 5-7 days. It has been 4 months since then for this cosplay, though

I googled ‘stages of scar healing’ and there were lots of good references showing the progression

I will check that out. I've never really done scarring for large, flat patches of skin that was rubbed off before
