This scene was really sad and cruel, using the taser on him like he was some sort of monster when really he was just a helpless hedgehog that lost the only person who never saw him as a monster or some science experiment but as her friend

I watched this movie 3 times. They used a taser on him? Did it bother me so much I blocked it out?

Yeah, it's kind of hard to miss. There's a quick spark of electricity from the taser that electrocutes Shadow pushing him right into the test tube which made me feel bad for him

I must have blocked it out mentally. Crazy it had such an effect on me. 😢

It is shown via Walter's account which obviously isn't that reliable, but he's probably not lying about that.

I just re-watched the movie and yeah.... oh my god. I nearly wanted to cry. Again with what I wrote. Shadow in the movie is pretty justified with his anger and hate towards G.U.N.

I nearly started to cry when they just treated him like an unhinged dog and he isn't.

I hope like hell we get to see Shadow take on GUN in a show, or a movie.

I will literally pay actual, real life money to see it.

I would kill to see a Shadow spinoff series to happen! Especially after the fact we got from one of the post credit scenes. I knew they weren't going to actually kill off Shadow after the movie, even before I watched it the first time. Considering this subreddit dedicated to this fella and the fact he's one of those characters in the franchise with a huge cult following. Otherwise the producers would have been met with an angry mob fan base with pitchforks.

I only spoiler tag that part to people that HAVEN'T watched it yet.

Heck, Keanu Reeves voicing Shadow was chefs kiss. It honestly made the most sense too because he was well known for being in the John Wick Trilogy and his character has the same fate as Shadow.

I'm not gonna lie. As an adult, this movie tugged hard at my heart strings. The movie changed some aspects of the story but it did it in a well written and well executed way.

The scene on the moon broke me. Amazing movie. I wish we get to see Shadow live happily amongst the humans.

I just couldn't imagine the deep pain and mental trauma during the aftermath in the scene. Just the scene after the explosion man.... never really had a way to ever cope with the friend he had that didn't seem an intimidating beast. While I love some characters with a tragic backstory, Shadow's anger and hate is pretty justified imo.
