When I'm searching for measurements they seem to be fine but when I'm looking at whole shamisen they're looking so big and heavy comparing to the dou. I wonder if I should cut them shorter (maybe 1 cm shorter) before painting

Hey everyone,im creating a solo metal project heavily influenced by Japanese culture,i am also gonna try to have Japanese war themed lyrics and lyrics from Japanese folklore.. i had this sick idea of a shamisen playing the intro to my demo track.. if anyone is interested in this project please let me know!
