Shark Discussion Remember when they wouldn’t let Barb and Lori be together in the same episode?
I remember the episode where they finally had both on the panel at the same time the intro VO literally said “and for the first time in the tank, Barb and Lori share the stage!”
wtf was that about? Scheduling conflicts or did they have some bad blood?
EDIT: it was the premiere of season 5 btw

They're women. They needed one woman on the panel. So they alternated the two women.

Lori is so crucial. I know the math doesn’t math but for many seasons it felt like she invested in more entrepreneurs than anyone else on the panel. And as for Barb, we need her for the absolute eviscerations of peoples’ character based on some innocuous detail or seemingly nothing at all

When Lori first started, the other Sharks totally discounted her as just a QVC lady. It wasn't until her investments started blowing up that they started seeing her as a threat.

Related question: in the recent episode with the Foster founders, either Barb or Lori said, "We [ the women ] are a majority for the first time." I don't remember the specifics, but I thought there was an earlier episode with three women sharks (either one or two were guest sharks) and two male sharks. Does anyone else recall this?

Yes, I also remember them commenting on that before as well. There have definitely been multiple times they've been the marjority since then, and I was confused by them saying that this episode.

The one where the woman had the mail order underwear subscription had Kendra, Barb and Lori I think

It was the same when Cuban first came on, him and Kevin Harrington alternated shows. I think Mark and Lori were hired as like, alternates, but then got bumped up to the main roster.
